Why is Colston moving *DOWN* in the Top 250 Forward? (1 Viewer)

Obviously Colston takes a huge plummet after he is injured since is missing 4-6 games. But shouldn't he (along with all injured studs) be slowly working his way back *UP* the rankings as the # of games to miss going forward shortens? Until you eventually reach the point where he is back playing and his value going forward is finally that of a Top 10 WR for the remaining 8 or so games?

Good point. I guess he's been downgraded due to the fact that he is now closer to being labled "injury prone" or that he has a chance to reinjure the hand.

:kicksrock:

I was thinking the same thing when I saw this. Don't get it at all. I haven't heard anything over the past week that would lead to downgrading him. Now that he's another week closer to coming back, I don't understand the drop.

I wondered the same thing. It could be that Dodds thinks they'll continue to spread the ball around now that Brees has gotten comfortable with guys like Moore and Meachem.

that's what I would figure. Lance looks good enough to bite into production numbers...

I think Top 250 is "winged" at best. While you're at it, ask why Moss was at #3 last week (which arguably was a joke) and drops to 8 while on a bye. Don't scrutinize Top 250 forward too carefully. It's not worth the effort.
