There is a lot more corrupt cops than there is good cops.

The overwhelming majority of cops are decent guys doing what is (at times) a difficult and (at times) very dangerous job. The default attitude towards cops should be one of respect. If a cop acts like an a$$, then fine, but most of them are just trying to do what's right.
