Who do you think will see the bulk of San Diego's tackles this season? Phillips put up some good numbers this week.

What happens when Cooper comes back and if Merriman is out for the year?

I drafted Wilhelm, but am considering dropping him for Phillips.

This is going to be scoring system dependent. Wilhelm will end up having better value in a tackle heavy system, as it's highly unlikely Phillips will have many more weeks with six or more tackles. With Merriman gone, the inside backers may have better value if the defensive pressure drops off enough to keep the offense from bunches of long down and distance situations.

Cooper will eventually take over as the every down inside backer, so his value will be similar to slightly better to Wilhelm's (who plays what should be the better tackling position) as the season wears on.

I'd feel a lot better with Phillips. He'll be on the field all season as long as he's healthy.

I wouldn't be shocked if Anthony Waters or Tim Dobbins start getting first- and second-down reps at ILB later in the season at Wilhelm's expense.
