Will Carson Palmer Rebound? (1 Viewer)

Offensive line issues, Ocho Cinco not quite the same, tough schedule and of course the knee injury recovery. All of these things add up to a player you should avoid, yet I cant get it out of my head that this guy could be an ultimate buy low.

Do you all see Carson as a great opportunity to buy low or an overpriced qb to avoid?

Hold tight- he seems to be a decent play this year. The team has a lot of weapons and with the way QBs are going down you would be hard pressed to get anything as valuabe as Palmer unless you have depth at QB. The Bengals are not running the ball this year compared to the passing game....

Thanks PM, I'm actually not an owner (I have Kitna and an injured Hasselbeck) but I was looking at him as a possible buy for me (or avoid).

He seems fine to me. Nearly 1700 yards in 7 games is somewhere near 4k projected out over a season. 11 TDs is somewhat low but I blame Chad for that.

? He's had 2 bad weeks all year. This or that problem blah blah but he's still putting up stats. I've tried to trade for him and couldn't (one offer included Grossman).

Debating the same question.

I have Palmer but have been offered Eli Manning as part of a package deal. Despite Eli's better numbers, I'm leaning towards keeping Palmer.

It is true that he really has only had two bad weeks so far. And has been putting up quite good numbers the past few weeks.

Yeah, the schedule scares me a bit. But then again, Palmer torched the Ravens twice last year. When the Bengals are clicking, they can put up numbers against anyone.

So, I think Palmer will rebound. In my case, will he put up better numbers than Eli Manning? That, I'm not sure of.

This is true but he isnt anywhere near the monster he was last year. Probably is due to Ocho Cinco not playin up to par. I wonder if that shot he took in week 1 hurt him for the long term.

Buy Low. The return of Chris Henry opened up the passing offense (just hope the bengals are keeping him under lock and key between games). The timing of the offense is still off, but its sure to improve. I would take Palmer over anyone except McNabb, Peyton, and maybe Vick for the remainder of the season.

So you think Palmer outperforms Eli Manning the rest of the way?

Pretty much a toss up, but I'll take Palmer because he's got more weapons and a weaker defense, leading to more shootouts.
