will cowboys play all of there players next wek? (1 Viewer)

I would think until they wrap up homefield throughout, those guys will be in. GB is only one game behind them right now (two witht he tiebreaker I guess), so they need at least another win or two.

Worst thing to happen to Romo, TO, Witten, MBII, JJones, Crayton, Dallas D/St owners was the last second win vs. Detroit.

A loss against the Lions would've had them tied with GB (record wise) , and having to play out for the remainder.

I have Romo/Witten heading into my semis this week. Dallas game starts at 4:15. Now, should GB lose their 1 o'clock game (highly unlikely), Dallas may ease up a bit, as they will have all but clinched it.

Still, even with a GB win, if Dallas gets out in front of Philly by a comfortable margin, they could put the cue in the rack, with select offensive starters.

Bite your tongue. That last second win was a pass from Romo to Witten which pushed Romo over 300 yards. With out that single play, the likelihood of advancing in the playoffs as a Witten/Romo owner would be significantly reduced.Because of the bye week, no one is going to sit their starters in week 16. The coaching staff will be more scared of players getting rusty than they will be about injuries. Certainly no coach in his right mind is going to start randomly sitting his starters in week 15 like the original poster is asking. Far far too early.Week 17 is when you will see a large group of starters play a half or less for a handful of teams. Very very very few will sit much at all (outside of the normal blow out sitting) in week 16.

I was on bye this week ... so that last second hookup did JACK for me.And I never said Dallas would sit their starters ... but, do you honestly think that if Dallas is up comfortably that Romo will be chucking it? And if they are up comfortably, why would he even be in there late in the game?I said they might ease up ... not SIT.

If Dallas is already comfortably up, then chances are that your Dallas players already got some good points for you. I wouldn't worry about diminished returns until week 17.
