Will Dunn make it through the season (1 Viewer)

The guy amazes me every day. 180 lbs. 5'8'' and turns 32 before the season is over. He is scheduled for a big workload and has already been gettin' it.

Any chance things slow down? I know we can't predict injuries, but how much of an injury risk would you say he has?

ETA: If he does go down, does it look like Norwood gets the carries? All of em?

No ... Dunn is a mini stud ... this guy is the TIMEX of the NFL ... he'll just keep on tick'n

Ferget it!

Dumb, DUMB thread!

:X :yucky:

Ummm - look at his injury history and his games missed and answer your own question.
But the same was said about SA before the season, yet many claimed he would breakdown this year. Lots of wear on an old body..
In my dynasty league I've held Turner for 3 years waiting for his chance because of injury,I also am now holding Norwood for the same reason. Injuries are part of the game, just like snowstorms in summer......you never know when

:confused:It's a valid question. But, Dunn is a friggin rock, with very low mileage for a 32 year old back.

Can you call Dunn a workhorse? He's never had more than 280 carries in a season. Can his 5'8" frame stand up to the pace he's on this year? I'm not convinced. That's why I'm holding onto Norwood.

It's because he's never had more than 280 carries in a season that injuries are a mild concern only. His biggest problem (I have drafted him 2 yrs running in a redraft) is he doesn't friggin score. Supposedly with the TD ho Duckett gone this would change, but so far it aint so..

As was implied earlier, injuries are unpredictable. The probability of injury would likely be higher in older RB's with a history of heavy use.

Dunn is an anomaly, in that while he is older, he is not overly used, is in great condition, and appears to employ a running style that allows him to avoid taking the big hits.

That being said, his age is his age, his utilization this season appears to be higher than previous ones with 63 attempts after 3 games, and the unpredictable nature of injuries would lead most to say that his injury risk is somewhat higher to that of his RB peers. How much higher? Probably minimal.

Keeping Norwood as a handcuff is obvious for Dunn owners.

Very good recap.

Curtis Martin down?I think the end for Dunn is closer than some expect he's old, small, and for the first time in his career he's the true feature back
