Will Moore continue to start in Carolina? (1 Viewer)

I was wondering if anyone knowledgable about Carolina knew or thought that Moore would continue to start at Carolina. I have S. Smith and his production has improved with Moore looking for him often. I would be reluctant to play him if Delhomme were to start.

Anybody have any insight?

Moore should start the rest of the year. Delhomme needs to be a backup for the rest of his career. With that coaching staff who knows what they will actually do.

I would expect Moore to start this week but after watching the Giants last night I'm a lot less excited about his potential than I was after the Vikings-Panthers game. The Giants' pass defense looked vastly improved compared to recent weeks.

I think that was more a product of the 'Skins putrid offense last night. Minny has a pretty good DL. If Carolina was able to give Moore time to throw against them, they should be adequate against the Giants.

Perhaps. I just thought the Giants played with more assertiveness defensively than they had shown in a few weeks. Back at home against a suspect offense, I'm not sure Moore's looking as good as he was right after the Vikings game. The Panthers' offense can look just as bad as what we saw from Washington last night. I'd consider Moore in a Start-2 QB league if I was desperate but I'm not sure he does all that well.

Since week 7, Steve Smith has been the #7 WR in fantasy. Ahead of Fitz, Moss and Welker and within a handful of points of VJax and Reggie Wayne. He's scored 6 Tds in those 9 games. I'd say you'd have to be pretty deep at WR not to start him.

Moore will start the rest of the season but I think they'll draft someone in the first round to be their QB of the future

Moore has at least vaulted himself into the discussion to be the QB of the future for this team, but he still has a lot to work on. Keep in mind that the game on Sunday was only his sixth career start. I think he was very impressive against a very good defense. These last two games will increase everyone's knowledge of the kid, and I'm sure he'll be eager to impress the coaches/front office for the future.
