Will New England drop 70 points on the Jets this week? (1 Viewer)

I think the revenge factor is being overblown. The best revenge is living well- and that means beating the crap out of everyone on the way to a perfect season. Dropping 70 on the Jets is small change compared to that. They arent going to get outside their gameplan to do that. Im thinking 40-10, and Brady sits most of the second half. Its getting to the point where its legitimately smart to rest your studs.

Does anyone else out there think the Patriots have a legit shot at dropping 70 points on the Jets? The Patriots have been doing their best to embarrass whoever they play. This week the Patriots and Belichick have the extra motivation of getting even with the team that cost them a first round pick, 500K out of Belichick's pocket as well as causing the entire organaztion a lot of embarrassment.I am not joking when I say that I think the Patriots may put up 70 points on the Jets this week. The entire spygate story is such a non issue that Mangini should be embarrassed he even brought it up. If he is not embarrassed now. He will be after Sunday. If you have Patriots on you team play them all.PredictionNew England 70NYJ 10
No, the highest score I know of was 91-3, and I'm pretty sure the Pats will want to top that... so I'd say something like 107 points is reasonable for the Pats this week.

i seriously could see the pats having a little bit of a let down after such a beating of the steelers..

mangini knows the pats...

could it be the upset? maybe...will the pats cover the 24 1/2? no.

and id watch miami over the ravens...baltimore basically took their ball and went home after the pats came back on them...

After 2 or 3 td passes will Brady run all the way over to the JETS' sideline and talk smack to Mangini? I like how no flag gets thrown when he runs 20 yards to talk S*** to an opponent when the play is over yet in another game the refs throw a flag for celebrating with snow :sadbanana:As far as dropping 70 points on the NYJ, I'd say it depends on the weather. If the weathers decent 60 may happen.
Yes, I love how no flags were dropped when James Harrison hits Brady from behind when he was jawing with Smith. Brady ran to the endzone to congratulate his WR, many QB's do this. It was also said that Anthony Smith didnt learn a lesson from his ill advised guarantee, he continued to yell obscenities at Brady during warmups. I'm not surprised that Brady had a few words for Mr. Smith.Pittsburgh was awfully chippy yesterday. Especially after they were resigned to the fact that they were going to lose. That is what was classless yesterday.

New England will make Eric "the rat" Mangini consider retirement after this weekend.New England 65New York 0

Jets need to do 2 things. Hog the ball with a running game and eat the clock like they did vs Cleveland. Then they need to blanket Moss like Pittsburgh forgot to do. That way they lose 35-7 and Stallworth or someone else gets the scores.
Do the Jets really care who scores for NE? Would they be happier if stallworth/welker scored all the points? lol...I have a hard time seeing this.

Dude, you're forgetting about the blueprint.

Look, the Pats almost certainly will win, but the Jets aren't a HS team.

I feel reasonably comfortable saying there's no way NE drops 70 on the Jets.

Reasonably.

I once thought WWIII would begin someday in the Middle East.

With the Red Sox, Yankees, Patriots, and Jets fans hating each other the way they do, maybe it'll start in the Northeast instead.

I'll go with a 45-10 score. Or 52-10. Something like that.

RAT!!!Being Italian myself. The Italian people feel that people like Mangini (one of our own) is a true RAT for giving secrets away. After coach Belichick gave the little rat his big break Mangini goes (like a little child) behind his back and tells on him (for a minor infraction that every team attempts) like a little school girl. He is nothing but a disgraceful RAT that is not a man of respect or honor.
:kicksrock: :lmao: :lmao:

Oh for the love of.....Isn't there a dedicated thread for these now?

There's a dedicated thread for racial stereotypes?

No, I meant stupid Pat hate/love.But now that you mention it, it's a pretty stupid stereotype as well.

There's still 6 minutes left in the 4th quarter. Plenty of time for Brady & Co. to put up 53 on the Jets...
