Will Rodgers be back in week 15 ? (1 Viewer)

Please, tell us, what was right?  Was it the fact that Green Bay won the two games that he said they had no chance of winning?  Which was it?
That you have come off looking worse than him.

And each post you make proves me right.

FWIW, the name of my opponent's team this week is "Packer Nation" and he has Rodgers in his lineup (along with J. Williams).  So expect Williams to catch a few TD passes this week ;)

For those starting Rodgers this week, nobody is concerned about the long layoff and going on the road against the CAR D?  Since I'm facing him this week I'm feeling a bit better about the tougher match up on the road.... It's not like they are playing HOU in GB.

So, after Rodgers went down I barely treaded water with the likes of Flacco, Simien and Hundley. I then managed to wrangle a deal for Brady from a team out of contention (auction/keeper $ league) to back into the playoffs (Brady 3pts week 13, 7pts week 14!)

Now what?

I certainly don't think that he is a slam dunk.  I just think that there are not a lot of great options at QB this year.  I feel like he has a high ceiling and a comfortable floor.  I think that he can get 200/2 and I will live with that based on the nonsense I've been getting at QB since he went down.

Carolina D has been kind to QBs the last 5 games. QBs are averaging around 275/2 over that time (Ryan/Cutler/McCown/Brees/Keenum)

I'm wary but would feel differently if it was another QB with a different pedigree. Rodgers seems like the kind of guy whose mind makes as many plays as his body, so there is that advantage that helps offset some rust if it's there. From everything I see, Rodgers is also super fired up to play, and think he is working as hard as possible in practice to shake rust off so he's as close to 100% as he can possibly be.

What I worry about more is that the tensions @Bayhawks mention may be real, and that even if Rodgers thinks he's good to go the team want to protect their investment and are careful with him via gameplan -- or worse that somehow they don't start Rodgers. I'm all in on him this week, not even carrying a backup plan. That may bite me knowing that we'll really not have absolute confirmation until potentially Sunday AM -- while the Pack plays early, there's literally zero wiggle room for me as other options won't be there with TNF, two Saturday games, and with Garoppolo, Mariota, Goff, Wilson, Brady, Ben, Dak, Carr, Jameis and Ryan all spoken for.

Am I overreacting on the chances that somehow Rodgers doesn't start? Or are we all 100% sure this is a go?

I listened to 2 different podcasts this afternoon.  One said Rodgers is starting-stared it definitively, as a fact.  The other noted that he was medically cleared, but stopped short of saying he was starting.  I’d like to see something from the team saying he’s starting.  If/when that happens, I think IF there was tension, they’ll play him in a normake fashion.  If they were to call overly conservative plays, I’m fairly sure Rodgers would just audible out of those plays.

I am in the same boat. Been going back and forth for the past 24 hours...leaning to Brady. I just can’t bet against him in a big game they need to win.
