The Patriots are have always been screwed over by the refs. Remember that playoff game in the snow a few years ago vs the Raiders when near the end of the game a Raider defender came in and hit Tom Brady in the head and they never called roughing the QB? Instead they ruled it an incompletion and we lost a down. Good thing too because the blow to the head made Brady Fumble. Also, who could ever forget Ben Dreith? Those Raiders have always been cheaters.

I certainly hope not, although that might be funny watching Pats whine about officiating after today. But if there's one thing I hate more than a bad call is a make up call. There is absolutely nothing worse than making a second bad call to make up for the first bad call.

the "make-up" call is generally more common in basketball than the NFL. But i agree, I hope that there isn't a blatant increase in the amount of penalties called in their games this year. not beacuase it would be unfair to them, but because it would just make the whole scandal linger on longer than it needs to.After tonight I will no longer really have the anger regarding this matter since the league has ruled and handed out its decision. Whether I feel it is fair or not is really of no matter either as I am sure Mr. Goodell could care less what some fantasy fanatics think about this whole thing.I can imagine there being some meetings with the players association and Coach Fisher and his committee(the name escapes me at the moment), but as far as this being anything of a discussion will be completed. Now the Patriots being the laughing stock of the league until Vick is sentenced, thats a different story...I'm sure that fat guy who parody's Maden on the pregames will have some mock about this during the weekend.....But I'll just sit back, drink a beer and laugh until this has blown over for good!
