Will Trump get impeached? (1 Viewer)

Do you believe Trump will get impeached at some point during his time as President?

1.

to accuse (a public official) before an appropriate tribunal of misconduct in office.

2. Chiefly Law. to challenge the credibility of:

3.

4. to call in question; cast an imputation upon:

to impeach a person's motives.

5.

to call to account.

P.S.  Everyone knew what I was saying and clarified in initial post but go ahead and continue with your semantics.
If everyone knew, other posters besides myself would have had no need to repeatedly try to correct your mulish insistence that impeachment means removal from office.

It seems many of you feel he will get impeached.  This poll isn't if you hope he gets impeached,  but if you feel it actually happens.

To further clarify, the Senate cannot save him like Clinton and he must be removed from office and not resign.
I think the word you are looking for is convicted

House won't flip in 2018, and the Rs won't impeach him for obstruction without him being involved in a crime. Not happening.

The question is, will he get brought up on criminal charges external to congress. That is the only unnatural end to his Presidency I think is remotely possible aside from health failure.

It's a dangerous game to play using impeachment.  But he is darn close I'd think to deserving it.

I wonder if we are getting to the point where it might be used more but as more of a vote of no confidence type thing like a Parliament would do.  Getting the Senate to convict is near impossible, and the realities of the position are such that the impeachment vote would likely lead to resignation anyway.

Heck, maybe we should use it more.

Lol liberals are hilarious. Enjoy Trump's full term.
Trump is 3 moves ahead of the liberals.  He announced his 2020 run shortly after becoming president.  He already ascended into the highest office in the land once, with all odds against him.  I'm sure the odds will tilt in his favor after being on top for 4 years.  Trump likely has a few tricks up his sleeve to cripple the DNC at about the time they should be uniting behind Bernie Sanders.

KFC had a special promotion earlier in the year, but you may have missed it: :hophead:

KFC Adds Fried Crow to Menu in States That Voted for Trump

February 17, 2017 · by Mark Pants · in Business, Celebrity, Food, health, national, news, politics, Travel. ·

The fast food giant formerly known as Kentucky Fried Chicken is expanding their poultry-heavy menu to include a new item – the Colonel’s Crow – the item will be on menus exclusively in states that went for Trump in the 2016 election! Yes, that’s right KFC is serving up grilled or fried crow meat seasoned in the Colonel’s 11 delicious, secretive herbs and spices!

Yum! Brands owners of KFC said in a press release, “Now that President Donald J. Trump has had a couple weeks to thoroughly embarrass the nation we wanted to give the American people an opportunity to serve their braggadocios friends and family who voted for Mr. Trump a nutritious meal of literal crow meat. These Americans can proudly buy this new item starting Sunday at participating KFC locations. And health conscious  consumers can rest easy knowing that all of the colonel’s crows are freshly sourced by our fleet of semi-truck drivers who will pull over every time they hit one of the flesh eating birds while it’s snacking on road carrion.

That’s not all; in addition to our classic sides like mashed potatoes and gravy, mac and cheese and coleslaw we’ve added the perfect side for a hardy serving of crow – fresh baked humble pie. You’ll have to act fast though, this promotion will expire on the last day of spring or when Trump is impeached, whichever comes first!”

I think there will be several impeachable offenses discovered in the investigation, ranging from conspiring with Russia to rig the election, money laundering, and obstruction of justice.  I think it will take too long to prosecute though, and have no faith in this Congress to act without a criminal conviction.  Thus, I don't see formal impeachment occurring before Trump is voted out, resigns, or dies.
