Williamson is on waivers?Excuse me for going off topic, but at what point does this question belong in the ACF? Where do you draw the line? How much different is this question from "Advice Needed: Pick up Williamson or Cotchery?"Seriously.
Well, I just searched on Jurrassic's posts & it looks like he started one thread in the ACF titled "Drop Henry for Cotchery?" and another one titled "Droughns and Housh for C. Taylor and Williamson?" So, I take it, in his league, Cotchery is on the wire & Williamson is on another team.I hope that answers your question. Next time I guess Jurassic should post his whole roster.Williamson is on waivers?Excuse me for going off topic, but at what point does this question belong in the ACF? Where do you draw the line? Bloom,Why so emphatic? This reminds me a lot of when Anquan Boldin had such a strong start his rookie season and everyone kept calling it a fluke. Cotchery is a talented guy and I think the latest in a long line of NFL receivers to prove that straight line speed is one of the most overrated measurements scouts use on receivers. Williamson, who certainly doesn't lack straight line speed, also appears to have a bright future but the Vikings have a ton of weapons and I can't see why they won't continue to spread the ball around.Sigmund Bloom said:Williamson, and it's not close.
I see Cotchery as more of a possession WR - his stats have benefitted greatly from facing Tennessee and a fluky long TD. Williamson looks electric every time he gets the ball in his hands, and is a threat to score at anytime. Cotchery is good, but his stats are somewhat connected to how much the Jets pass. Williamson has the ability to post a good week on one or two plays, even when the offense is not pass heavy. He can post 150+ if the Vikes do have to air it out. I wouldn't call Marcus Robinson, Jermaine Wiggins, and Travis Taylor "weapons". They are decent role players, but Williamson is the featured target in that offense.Bloom,Why so emphatic? Who are you going to pick up off your leagues waiver wire?Who do you think will have the better year between this two? Williamson is the clear #1 but the Jets have been passing a ton and Cotchery already has 2 td's.
I think its Cotchery. He would have had 3 TD's but one was called back. This is his third season and Coles takes the double coverage not him.He has the opportunity more so in my opinion than Williamson.Who are you going to pick up off your leagues waiver wire?Who do you think will have the better year between this two?
