The New England Patriots signed defensive lineman Santonio Thomas on Saturday, one day before the Super Bowl.

On the roster for two days - get a super bowl ring. Definately "best week ever"

He has been on their practice squad the entire year and played in games this season. It isn't like he was a FA.

He will be on the field (even if he never plays)

He will be in the Locker Room

He will be in the Celebration

He will get a game and superbowl check likely bigger than his salary for the entire year of being in the practice squad (bigger than three years of being on and off the practice squad?)

In three years of being on the practice squad, he has actually played in four games with two solo tackles and one assist, no sacks - yet he is on the FREAKING FIELD for one of the most historical games ever.

Now if he does also get to make some plays - all the sweeter.
