WIS 2012: Back to the Future II - Draft and Season Thread (3 Viewers)

Wednesday afternoon poll questions:

[*]How many rounds should we go? 45, 50, more?

[*]It seems like we've had as many skips as picks today (and one acknowledged snipe). Is the 30 min clock more bother than it's worth yet?

1. I'd say we might as well go 50, if someone doesn't want to draft that many they don't have to.2. Maybe switch to 2 scheduled picks a day so people don't get too far behind and we're not waiting all day. Or just leave it as 30 mins it doesn't really matter.

I'd also prefer if we finish a week or so before opening day so people don't wait to draft people after seeing who made the opening day roster, but again not a huge deal.

:goodposting:We should aim to finish by mid next week. Anyone owing picks should only have 24 hours or something to make them once we make our round 45 or 50 picks
 
45 rounds should be fine.

i wouldn't mind a schedule for picks. not a first-come, first-served thing. something along the lines of:

40.01 10:00 am

40.02 10:05 am

40.03 10:10 am

etc

that way, a drafter would know precisely when to show up in the thread and make his pick.

but i'm fine with anything reasonable.

 
There's not a lot of consensus here.

Let's stay the course with single pick & 30 min clock until Friday night. Over the weekend, we'll go back to 3ITC w/out clock. Whatever's left on Monday, we'll either go with scheduled single picks or draft double picks in order. If we're over 30 total skips by the time we reach 45.24 (we're currently at 26), we'll end it there. If people still want to go more rounds, we can consider it then.

Teams will have 24 hours after the final round to make-up skips. Hopefully, everybody will have at least 40. If somebody is short, we can make a few community picks if necessary.

OK by me. I really only feel strongly that we need to cut off makeup picks a few days before opening day.

ok, looks like these were the last OTC picks. Tre and DocGreco were skips b/c they missed their previous picks. DougB is autoskip if not in thread. Sparty is autoskip. So that put Arsenal OTC until 6:27pm CT. So he's timed out. Bogart is a skip, so that puts me OTC. If incorrect, i apologize.
