WIS 2012: Back to the Future II - Draft and Season Thread (2 Viewers)

with my Pujols acquisition, can make Justin Morneau available

333/440, 570 PAs, range stats look good

Not a great 1B, but better than what a few teams have there.

Best bet is likely a package of Morneau plus Position X (including pitcher) for an upgrade at Position X. Pretty well set at catcher (Mauer) and CF (McCutchen), but could upgrade anywhere else.
my primary interest would be in upgrading my 3rd OF. Have Gerardo Parra with 420 PAs at 727 OPS. Would be looking for 500 PAs with an OPS of 820+.Could also upgrade at SS (have Zack Cozart) or SP5 (have 100 IP at 4.25 dice)

box full - i need arms badly.....would you take inge for albers?

Kenley Jansen's 61 dominant IPs are available. Looking for a bat in return.
what sort of bat?
I need an OF. But I'm not going to trade Jansen just for depth PAs. He had a season that will get drafted in future all-time sims. If you plug his numbers into the WIS database, you'll see how special it is.61 IP0.85 WHIP.146 OAV13.43 K/93.10 BB/9His HR/9 number isn't all-time uber elite but Jansen will still be the best short man in this year's sim.
Looking for about 450 usable OF PAs in return

TRADE ANNOUNCEMENT

Brady sends:

SS Asdrubal Cabrera

Boubucarow sends:

RHP Zack McAllister

RHP Francisco "F-Rod" Rodriguez

SS Yunel Escobar

Hate losing Cabrera (especially since Escobar is a chump), but F-Rod is a good bullpen piece and McAllister will give me 130 usable innings I desperately need.

Still could use one more arm and would like to deal one of Yonder Alonso or Carlos Lee to get it. Don't need a boatload of innings, but quality would be good.

My 25 man roster is close to set. So I would be looking for some improvements on my active roster on fantrax. I would be willing to trade an active player with some of the above listed players to improve one spot on my roster. if you are interested in any of these players send me a PM and I will look over your roster and see if I can find something I want.

I'd be up for a quantity for quality trade at OF or SP if someone needs PA's/IP's.

Something like one of Leake/Zito and one of Romero/Alvarez for a better SP, or DYoung/Ichiro for a better OF.

Let me know.

I would like to trade for a 2B. Would like at least 300 ABs, but I need something that resembles quality here. Can deal from my AAA roster or infield bench to get it done.

I could move a nice half year of Anthony Rizzo or a very nice full year of Adam Laroche.

Rizzo would take a good reliever and a mediocre bat in return.

LaRoche would take a decent full time outfielder and a reliever.

I went from no first baseman last season to Encarnacion, Laroche, Rizzo this year.

2. CF Mike Trout3. 3B Miguel Cabrera
Gunna go out on a limb and say that you're top 2 hitters are the best in the league.
:bowtie:Too bad my starting pitching and my middle infield are going to be absolutely horrendous.
And you also have a 29 man roster listed above
My part-time pitchers and Bernadina will be in AAA until their counterparts burn out of IPs. :coffee:

Question for jfranco or whoever else might know, I know that when entering the team you need to have 6 aaa hitters and 4 aaa pitchers. However, during the year, can we switch that ratio? Say we call up a hitter and send down a pitcher, making the new ratio 5/5. Or does it always have to be 6/4 during the season as well?

You have to draft exactly 6/4. But then you have 10 AAA spots when the season starts. So you could have 5/5 as the season is being played out. You could send down a hitter and call up an arm, and vice versa.

David Huff has 22 good innings for the Indians and he's starting tonight's game. I'm really rooting for the kid to pitch well and make my team.

still groveling for warm reliever body for brandon inge - 311 PAs of .226 .286 .389 at 3b. great in the clubhouse, like a kid out there, just having fun, has the keys to the gym, only started playing baseball at 17 since he was a soccer player, his father was a coach.
