I figure we have drafted twice as many players as a typical 10 team league would draft. It has gotten very, very ugly. I'm looking at guys and wondering if they might get a September callup.

You're headed down the right track, Bogie. Too many of these guys are viewing this as a fantasy draft. We're drafting a major league roster, fellas. Welcome to the real world.
 
If I'm the NATS, I don't let Stras pitch at all this year, but...

Bill Ladson of MLB.com reports Strasburg has begun to throw off flat ground at 90 feet and could make his return sometime in September.

I figure if he gets 4-5 starts in September, he might be useful as a bullpen arm in this. It's worth a shot.

I was planning on taking that same shot sometime soon, but I just couldn't get away from Ryan Franklin. ;)

True ... but this is now requiring knowledge of AA ball and guys starting that low who could get into the show THIS YEAR. And I'm scrambling :D This kind of info may be on the 'Net somewhere ... but not in one place.

I have to run to a meeting but I got an email from NV asking if Castillo was avaliable. I asked him which one but haven't got a responce. Not sure if I should post this but wanted to get this out there so there won't be any issues down the line. I will update in about two hours if I hear from him.

If anyone wants to guess on which Castillo please feel free.

my guess is Luis Castillo

Figures to have his usual decent HR/AB ratio however much he gets up this year so could be a decent LH PH option.

It's going to be fun to look at this thread after the season is over.

Who will have the biggest SOD? Is the Cy Young/MVP/ROY still undrafted? I doubt it, but there is always a chance.
