I really like my top 4 relievers and my top 4 starters. After that I really just need to hit on 2 more from all the guys I picked to fill out my bullpen, and I'm optimistic about Izzy, Devine, Russell and Demel possibly being solid enough to use. Rzepcinski is apparently moving to the bullpen so I moved Nova to SP5 temporarily. Did you know Correia is the Pirates' opening day starter?

Hopefully one of Rzep, Kawakami, Perkins, Humber and Litsch can be a solid LR. If one of them pans out, I could have some trade bait.

I really tried to draft strong skills (GB%, K rate) and friendly parks wherever I could. Towards the end I got away from that, I started going for opportunity instead (Kawakami, Humber, Perkins, Litsch) just so I could be sure I had enough innings.

I could draft you and me at this point at it would be just as good. You will get your picks soon old man. I'll pick up some sense of humor while I'm out as well.

Damn my team is so bad I had a hard time figuring out whom my extra 6 guys would be. I got to about 24 and figured the rest are throw aways. So be fun to watch this year.

I know the rules say any LIVING person, but maybe we should allow a grace period on Radbourn. He's only been dead 114 years. Barely enough time to get him crossed off your cheat sheets.

You're really piecing together that SP5 spot. Hopefully no one else gets hurt among your starting pitchers.

usable back of the rotation SPs will be very valuable commodities in this format

Yeah, I spent the majority of the draft entertaining the idea that Feliz had a good chance of being my SP5. Ideal scenario is that Johan and Harden both give me 75-100 IP to form some sort of super #5, but I'll settle for Kyle Lohse if I have to.

39.20 Alberto Gonzalez, UTIF

While I was drafting Everth Cabrera yesterday, the Padres were trading for this loser so they could demote Everth to AAA. They thought they could cheat me out of 200 useless PA, but they thought wrong.

Also, my Bowker pick was 38.5, not 38.20.

39.18 - Taylor Teagarden - C

I think the Treanor trade gets him up to the Rangers sooner than later. I don't trust Napoli as a backup catcher.

40.07 - Bobby Cramer - SP

Guy won 2 out of every 3 decisions he pitched for Oak last year. STUD.

So, I'm skimming MLB Trade Rumors today and read that Pat Misch has been sent down to the minors, and I feel bad for a second. And I have no idea why I had any reaction at all. It took about 45 seconds before I realized that I had drafted him in the 25th round.

40.5 Nate Adcock, RP
Adcock? Manship? I wouldn't wear a game worn jersey from either one of them.
As a Twins fan, I really enjoy saying MAN-SHIP in as low a voice as possible when he comes in. I wish he threw harder though. With a name like MANSHIP, he should be bringing upper 90s heat.
Wait, you guys are drafting guys that actually play in the major leagues?
Well, he has played in the major leagues. He's starting in AAA this year. He's pretty mediocre...but MAN-SHIP!

He made the Twins according to the news reports I looked at before I illegally attempted to draft him.

How many guys that are starting the season in AAA did you all end up with?

I have 5 batters (of 22) and 4 pitchers (of 18) starting the 2011 season in AAA. On top of that, I have one free-agent 1B (Troy Glaus) and one all-but-retired RP (Billy Wagner). That leaves me with 16 batters and 13 pitchers, so far, that will actually be on MLB rosters on Opening Day.
Bumped and edited. Still curious about other WIS 2011 teams' situations with this.
