The letter grades for fielding have never mattered in the sim anyway. It's always the underlying FLD%, RRF and CS% numbers.

At this point, with the dreck left at C, I'll be fine if he has D/D/D defense at catcher, just so long as he plays there and at least matches his performance last year. (reports say he'll still see time there this year).

I was on the field before the Mets/Rockies game for Air Force week on Monday. So the security guy said I had to leave the field as the game was starting and I scrambled to get all my stuff and get off the field. So a Rockies player is swinging in the on-deck circle and he stops and comes toward me and says, "Sir I think you dropped your cell phone," and handed it to me.

3B Jordan Pacheco is now a guy I'll always root for.
