Same here, Morgan/Allen/Larkin/Burks all hitting under 200 <_<Very disappointed in my offense so far. Knew my pitching would be so-so but ugh the O is bad.
I owe you a proper ... Joss just had a nice outing (7 IP, one ER, scattered 6 hits, one BB). In Fulton County Stadium, to boot (+2 singles).OAV is a problem (19 hits in 12.2 innings) but I think he'll come around and be solid. It's only 2 starts. I don't think Chase is a good place for him to pitch at all which doesn't help.
I've seen it posted on the WIS forum that Morgan sucks for a lot of people. No clue why. His #'s are awesome.Same here, Morgan/Allen/Larkin/Burks all hitting under 200 <_<Very disappointed in my offense so far. Knew my pitching would be so-so but ugh the O is bad.
Morgan and Schmidt always suck. I drafted a Schmidt again, and once again I regret it.I've seen it posted on the WIS forum that Morgan sucks for a lot of people. No clue why. TurribleSorry for bailing on you, RNR. It just got depressing seeing yet another team turn Wrigley into Coors while my team acted like they were playing at Pac Bell.
Does this mean your winning streak is over?Sorry for bailing on you, RNR. It just got depressing seeing yet another team turn Wrigley into Coors while my team acted like they were playing at Pac Bell.

My offense is way underperforming too, or maybe I just don't know what I am doing...needs Tommy John surgery already?Joel Zumaya, get comfy, you will never get off the bench again.

See, I coulda sworn the sim engine was tweaked a few years ago to ensure that the deadball pitchers --even those with 0 HRs allowed over a season -- allowed a lot more HRs. That's one reason I thought deadball pitchers weren't as money as they once were.Gotta love it when a P has 9999 hr/9+ give up a game tying 2 run HR.![]()
Not a deadball pitcher even. It was Joey Devine.See, I coulda sworn the sim engine was tweaked a few years ago to ensure that the deadball pitchers --even those with 0 HRs allowed over a season -- allowed a lot more HRs. It's not a lot, but it's some. I can't remember all the details but a pitcher with a zero is given some non-zero change of giving up a HR based on their season. Since a 0 was less impressive in 1908, those guys are a little more likely to give up a HR than a guy with a 0 in 1999. In other words, Devine really shouldn't give up too many.See, I coulda sworn the sim engine was tweaked a few years ago to ensure that the deadball pitchers --even those with 0 HRs allowed over a season -- allowed a lot more HRs. When he goes 0-9 it wont seem so strangeBilly Urbanski with a 1.444 OPS through 9 AB's (.581 real life OPS) WIS very strange sometimes.![]()
I might bench him for the rest of the season so he can lead the league in OPS.When he goes 0-9 it wont seem so strangeBilly Urbanski with a 1.444 OPS through 9 AB's (.581 real life OPS) WIS very strange sometimes.![]()
Happened to me too, on Monday. I'm not a big live guy, but I played my 2 games against a few people and that was all I could do. I'll try to get on again next week and play a few more.Shake and I are in simlive, but guess what? We've already played our 2 games. #rules
