Each round I give my boy about 20 names (in positions of need now) and kinda say how many good, ok, bad seasons hey have for dice roll purposes.  He went Tony, who I think is fine here, but he goes off of his baseball card collection and players he knows/likes more than anything.  Seems to be doing well enough so far.  

Tony has a  good glove and walks a bunch.  Has a pretty nice year where he has some pop and speed too.
