With QB injuries today, is it time to look at some backups? (1 Viewer)

Batch looked pretty good in relief of Big Ben -- who appeared to get his bell rung pretty good.

Wallace looked pretty bad in relief of Hass -- who hopefully has only a mild knee strain.

We'll get more information on the injuries in the next few days, but would it be prudent to pursue either Batch or Wallace?

I put in a bid for Wallace. If I do not get outbid, I'll try to trade him to the Hasselbeck owner.

Was trying to keep this away from a WDIS discussion, Bri -- but I have Frye as a backup...and I guess he was woozy after his game yesterday! Picked up Batch, assuming he'll be a one-week play against Oakland (or I could go with Frye against the J-E-T-S). Wallace is still available in my league -- think I should pick him up? Unfortunately, I have very little room on my team -- we have 15 players and start 9 in a 14-team league. I've been rotating two D's and have 1-TE, 1-PK, 4-WRs and 4-RBs. It may be worth not going after the next couple of games in the hopes that Hass is back in 3-4 weeks, if the alternative is to leave me really short-handed at other positions.

The bad part is that QBs are the most important scorers in our league (1pt/10 yards and 6 pts/td -- don't ask...it was a commisioner error that can't be changed until next year).

im in the same boat. vince young is available in my league and thinking of picking him up to play at home vs houston. i did pickup up seneca wallace right after hass injury but i dont think hell do that well at KC next week.

I don't think Wallace is worth short or long term roster space. If Big Ben is out for an extended time Batch is def. worth a roster spot.
