I don't understand why liberals always stick up for Muslims. If they were ever to gain control most of their special interests would have their civil liberties seriously curtailed.

A. This guys actions were influenced by a ###-backwards, patriarchal themed religion whose views are in opposition with many Western perspectives such as freedom for all and the ability to live life as you would like to live it so long you are not hurting someone.

B. Despite this link to the religion, it is acknowledged that his views are on the extreme end of the spectrum and the average everyday Muslim most likely would not endorse the actions of an insane crazy person.

All the things you are talking about are in the Bible. A lot of Muslims in the Middle East are uneducated and easily convinced to follow extreme forms of Islam but most intelligent ones are able to make their own common sense interpretation of the Koran.

Little known fact: every Muslim is allowed to make their own interpretation of the Koran.

In fact, there's a sect of Islam (Ismaili) that says they don't have to pray or fast and can gamble/drink alcohol. Women are treated as equals and can lead prayers. Their leader (Aga Khan) lives in Paris and is married to a white woman.

I don't understand why liberals always stick up for Muslims. If they were ever to gain control most of their special interests would have their civil liberties seriously curtailed.

Women are pretty much a lower form of life in their world. And then the gays....well let's just say homosexuals would not be out parading around as much in a society that is dominated by Muslims. That is not to say that there are not any Muslim homos, rather that the ones in charge would be all in for killing them as soon as possible.

It's sort of perplexing why libs have such a fixation on standing up for a perspective that clearly hates them.

A classmate of Nolen's, who didn't wish to be identified, told this newspaper that he spoke to a close family member of Nolen's today.

He told this newspaper that according to the family member, Nolen was telling coworkers Thursday of an Islamic teaching that said women should be stoned for an offense, and that an argument followed the mark, Nolen was later fired and returned later Thursday, when he beheaded Colleen Hufford, the family member said.

A man suspected of beheading a woman he worked with and stabbing another was a convicted felon who had been released from probation this year, Oklahoma corrections officials confirmed Thursday.

Alton Nolen, 30, was released from probation in April, earlier than the original 2017 date, said Jerry Massie, a spokesman for the Oklahoma Department of Corrections.

What the hell is wrong with Oklahoma for releasing a dangerous criminal like that? Heads are gonna roll for this.

Not like there is nearly the control through probation as there is through parole, and I would argue there is almost none even then. What terms of his probation would have stopped, or discouraged this?

You don't know what the #### you're talking about. Clearly you don't know many American Muslims and are using what you see on TV to be prejudiced against an entire group of people.

Listen...I am not so daft as to believe that the average everyday Muslim was in on the beheading, or even approved of it in the slightest of ways. I am just saying that a. it is a religion where women are believed to be subservient and lower than men, and b. it is a religion where gays are condemned to the fires of hell under all circumstances. It is dumb to say that religion had nothing to do with this, because it did. Obviously, this guy is a wacko, but his wackness did come from somewhere. It does have an origin. You are acting like it is not.

All the things you are talking about are in the Bible. A lot of Muslims in the Middle East are uneducated and easily convinced to follow extreme forms of Islam but most intelligent ones are able to make their own common sense interpretation of the Koran.

Little known fact: every Muslim is allowed to make their own interpretation of the Koran.

In fact, there's a sect of Islam (Ismaili) that says they don't have to pray or fast and can gamble/drink alcohol. Women are treated as equals and can lead prayers. Their leader (Aga Khan) lives in Paris and is married to a white woman.

Same with Christians, that doesn't stop liberals from condemning all forms of Christianity, yet still defending Muslims anytime anything weird happens with them.
