Had a great moment a few months back. Walking back to the office after lunch. Big family is on the sidewalk, coming the other way, heading right for me. Walking side-by-side and blocking the whole sidewalk, literally. There's no space to maneuver around them. I'm on my side of the sidewalk, and I'm not moving. The 13/14 year-old son is directly in front of me. I keep moving toward the pack. The pack keeps coming at me. I don't stop. I drop a shoulder and make a "polite" effort to turn sideways, but not very much. Smack right into the kid and knock him back a bit. I don't lose a step. The dad turns to his son and says "Watch where you're walking, dumb###, there's other people around you know."
Thank you.
