I couldn't help but take the shot. Please forgive me - it was a moment of weakness.Max, Max, Max...
Is this true?Come on, man. I was a little kid when Reagan was inaugurated. I went to the inaugural parade with my parents, both of whom are more liberal than I am (believe it or not!). None of us would dream of ever doing so with Trump.
Comparing Trump to any previous president in terms of his divisiveness or his competence or any other of several other measures is absurd. The first full day of his presidency was met with the largest protest in human history. Whether you voted for him and support him, just tolerate him, or detest him, you have to at least recognize the unique nature of what's going on here, both in the Oval Office and in opposition to it.
You can ask the Sanders supporters whether they think I'm a bleeding heart liberal. I'm kinda middle of the road on a lot of things- energy policy, trade, gun control, state and local "nanny" laws, and some other stuff. You and I mostly joust on politics, not policy, so it doesn't come across. There is no way this is possible.
Ok, fair enough, that just struck me as "fake news"You can ask the Sanders supporters whether they think I'm a bleeding heart liberal. Not really. For starters, Reagan crushed the opposition ... Trump not so much. His margin of winning the electoral college was very slim and he lost the popular vote to a very weak candidate.I'm Ok with history...it is Biology, a Science Book and the French I took that I don't know much about...
Trumpvers over here, sounding more and more like the Donald. Not really. For starters, Reagan crushed the opposition ... Trump not so much. His margin of winning the electoral college was very slim and he lost the popular vote to a very weak candidate.
Please read my post again...I said on HGH...it is far more than Reagan but you are 100% wrong if you don't think the left was totally dumping on Reagan...the world is far different now...the extremes on both side have become more extreme and the lack of tolerance today was not around back than...yet, make no mistake about it...the left said Reagan was a dumb actor was unfit to be in charge of our nukes...no amount of revisionist history will change that...Come on, man. It's hilarious how beaver cleaver and HT appear to have an agreement to like each other's posts. It's like a polygamist family, but with whiny menTrumpvers over here, sounding more and more like the Donald.

Ah, OK. I was just a kid but that sounds right to me.Please read my post again...I said on HGH...it is far more than Reagan but you are 100% wrong if you don't think the left was totally dumping on Reagan...the world is far different now...the extremes on both side have become more extreme and the lack of intolerance today was not around back than...yet, make no mistake about it...the left said Reagan was a dumb actor was unfit to be in charge of our nukes...no amount of revisionist history will change that...
Slim? He won 304 to 227. While not huge it's certainly not a slim margin. Not really. For starters, Reagan crushed the opposition ... Trump not so much. His margin of winning the electoral college was very slim and he lost the popular vote to a very weak candidate.
Waiting to see when HT gives you the iLike.Worrying about "likes" very Trump-like
Trumpvers
Another liberal whining about likes. It's hilarious how beaver cleaver and HT appear to have an agreement to like each other's posts. It's like a polygamist family, but with whiny men![]()
Not letting it go are you, Trumpvers.Waiting to see when HT gives you the iLike.
I thought the hats were "cat ears," not literally intended to resemble female genitalia. Regardless, I can't imagine a thrice-married woman who bragged about not changing diapers getting elected president after being caught on tape saying she likes to grab unsuspecting men by the junk. So I'm not sure we can really do a comparison here anyway. Maybe if we lived in a universe where that could happen the weiner hats wouldn't seem as strange. It's hard to take serious a "movement" where the majority of participants are wearing female genitalia on their heads.
Imagine a bunch of FBG walking around #####ing and moaning with a Weiner sticking out of their foreheads. See what I'm saying. Scary.
Outrageous. OUTRAGEOUS!!!!!It's hilarious how beaver cleaver and HT appear to have an agreement to like each other's posts. It's like a polygamist family, but with whiny men![]()
Wait..what? If a woman said she loved to grab men by the junk you better believe she would be elected president. Not only that, most guys would be applying for jobs at the WH.I thought the hats were "cat ears," not literally intended to resemble female genitalia. Regardless, I can't imagine a thrice-married woman who bragged about not changing diapers getting elected president after being caught on tape saying she likes to grab unsuspecting men by the junk. So I'm not sure we can really do a comparison here anyway.
You never did send that agreement back to me...damn loser!Outrageous. OUTRAGEOUS!!!!!
Well, we can argue about the definition of "slim" all we want, but there's no disputing the fact that Trump's electoral margin ranked 46th out of 58 elections.Slim? He won 304 to 227. While not huge it's certainly not a slim margin.
Take out California and 52% of the remaining voters opposed Trump. Granted, that's a fairly "slim" margin, but slim is the new mandate these days, right? And here we go with the popular vote again. ONE STATE - California - made this difference. Take CA out and Trump would have won the popular vote by 1.4 million.
Neither can I actually. Your problem is you equate equality with being the same. Men and women are absolutely equal under the law but men and women are very different.I thought the hats were "cat ears," not literally intended to resemble female genitalia. Regardless, I can't imagine a thrice-married woman who bragged about not changing diapers getting elected president after being caught on tape saying she likes to grab unsuspecting men by the junk. So I'm not sure we can really do a comparison here anyway.
This isn't accurate.W Bush was the churchiest churchmeizer to ever be President, and he had a Republican Congress, a Republican Senate, and a Conservative majority on the SC. Abortion wasn't even brought up, much less seriously challenged.
Been happening here daily for almost 2 years. When do you think they will realize it never worked and never will? Or at least realize they got slaughtered on the one thing that meant more to them than anything else apparently. The daily barrage of insults, attacks and condescending nonsense from the same few. Good times.
I didn't equate anything to anything. I just pointed out why your hypothetical might be a flawed comparison, which you now seem to agree with.Neither can I actually. Your problem is you equate equality with being the same. Men and women are absolutely equal under the law but men and women are very different.
If we "take out" CA then there are no remaining voters and Trump wins the popular vote by 1.4 million votes.Well, we can argue about the definition of "slim" all we want, but there's no disputing the fact that Trump's electoral margin ranked 46th out of 58 elections.

Two studies calculated that there were 500+ marches that featured 3.3 million people, which is believed to be the largest single-day protest in U.S. history. Is this true?
Besides the most populated state? If we "take out" CA then there are no remaining voters and Trump wins the popular vote by 1.4 million votes.
What am I missing?![]()
The numbers appear to be impressive for a Democratic Party rally.Jayrod:

You're missing around 7 million people. If we "take out" CA then there are no remaining voters and Trump wins the popular vote by 1.4 million votes. What am I missing?
"take out" CA
Yes please.
And it was all for naught because the only thing anyone will remember if the vulgar, psychotic babble from Ashley Judd and Madonna.Jayrod:

If a small fraction of these women bothered to vote there wouldn't be any need for a march. The number of protesters don't matter. The number of arrests are irrelevant. The number of people at the inauguration is meaningless. All that matters is the electoral votes. Trump won. All this after the fact nonsense reeks of sore loser (nobody lost any rights on Friday). Next time vote if it's that important.
36 pages and growing. Lotta responses over something that doesn't matter. Odd business, that.If it didn't matter at all then why is this thread29 pagesand growing?*
36 pages and growing. Lotta responses over something that doesn't matter. Odd business, that.
It would about 6 pages long if not for all the unintentional comedy being provided. All kidding aside, you believe that statement? And it was all for naught because the only thing anyone will remember if the vulgar, psychotic babble from Ashley Judd and Madonna.
That's pretty impressive. I just knew about the DC march, didn't realize it was a nation wide thing.Jayrod:

Yes absolutely. Anyone who doesn't worship at the teet of CNN will. All kidding aside, you believe that statement?
Guy, the largest protest in US history, with others around the globe, isn't going to be overshadowed by naughty words Madonna said. That isn't a fact, but it's real close to one.Yes absolutely. Anyone who doesn't worship at the teet of CNN will.
yeah thanks for thatIt would about 6 pages long if not for all the unintentional comedy being provided.
You also thought Trump was going to get destroyed. I don't think you really have the pulse of the people man.Guy, the largest protest in US history, with others around the globe, isn't going to be overshadowed by naughty words Madonna said. That isn't a fact, but it's real close to one.
We both know that if the other side is dug in and believes firmly in something in opposition to you that shouting until you're blue in the face isn't going to change their mind. I know it meant something, you know it meant something, but to the other side, it was just "fat, ugly, bat#### crazy women getting some exercise and littering". That's what they want it to be so that's what it is to them.Guy, the largest protest in US history, with others around the globe, isn't going to be overshadowed by naughty words Madonna said. That isn't a fact, but it's real close to one.
To be fair, didn't almost everybody get that one wrong? You also thought Trump was going to get destroyed. I don't think you really have the pulse of the people man.
It's staggering to me.We both know that if the other side is dug in and believes firmly in something in opposition to you that shouting until you're blue in the face isn't going to change their mind. I know it meant something, you know it meant something, but to the other side, it was just "fat, ugly, bat#### crazy women getting some exercise and littering". You know what's staggering? That the election results weren't a wake up call to so many in here. It's staggering to me.
Uh........It was a wake up call, my friend, that's how 3.3 million women came to be marching. You know what's staggering? That the election results weren't a wake up call to so many in here.
It was. Hence the protests. You know what's staggering? That the election results weren't a wake up call to so many in here.
Great minds....Uh........It was a wake up call, my friend, that's how 3.3 million women came to be marching.
