Bought one of these on woot a couple of weeks ago -- works great and it's a good deal if you get rechargeable batteries.

Anybody have any experience with these wireless Xbox controllers? I've got one (not Logitech), and would like to have a couple more.

Nevermind... I got 2 of them anyway. They don't have the vibrate/rumble feature on them. My kids will like them.

Mind Your Pees And Q’s

Hey, the big job interview’s tomorrow! This could be the break you’ve been waiting for, huh? Might just make all the difference for your future. But your excitement is tempered by the memory of that little indiscretion a few weeks ago. At the party that night, it didn’t seem like a big deal. Everybody else was doing it, and you didn’t want to poop the party. So you’ve been gorging yourself on water, peeing ten times a day, praying to your deity of choice, and keeping your fingers crossed…but has it been enough?

In just ten short minutes, the LifeSign Home Drug Test can let you know what you’re in for. Its hilariously-named “dip and read” technology will tell you if there’s a trace of marijuana, cocaine, opiates, or meth in your system. Best of all, you’re the only one who has to know. Whether this scenario applies to you, or you suspect your kid’s wacked on goofballs, or you just want to make sure that guy from the gas company is clean before you let him in to read the meter, the LifeSign Home Drug Test belongs in your personal stash.

Features:

FDA Cleared For Personal and Home Use

Determines the presence of marijuana, cocaine, opiates and methamphetamine

Easy, fast and accurate, with confidential,

Easy-to-read results

5-10 minute result

Easy to use, “dip and read” technology

shouldn't these kits come with, like, some sort of detection device so police can arrest you when you try and use it to see if you can pass a drug test since obviously you had used drugs if you need the drug test for things that are illegal???

Absolutely!! I assume likewise you would support planting detection devices in bibles that are handed out to people in countries where such a thing is against their laws.

BOOM! Goes the Dynamite!

Ok, Coop. There is your PSU for $4.99 after MIR. 500W. Not a super popular brand, but I have the 600W version and really like it.

Next for your HDD. Wish you were around a week ago or so. I picked up some ATA 80 GB HDD's for $20 each, free shipping.
Sweet  Ordering one now ...
Airborne Express man just dropped off my PSU ... thanks Mad Cow, this thing is sweet

Cool - I hope mine gets here today.

Decent set of 2.1 Creative Speakers for $25.99. Definitely worth it if you're still using the cheapos that came with your PC.

Based on the email below, I have a feeling that there will be a Woot! Off tomorrow:

Hi Wooters!

Welcome to the first and only Woot newsletter (so far). Keep it in its original

packaging and it might be worth something someday. Before we begin, we do want

to sincerely thank everyone for your energetic support of Woot.com. You turned a

crazy idea into a crazy, successful idea - and believe us, nobody's more

surprised than we are. For real, thanks. We've added some enhancements recently,

which naturally raises a lot of pesky questions. This newsletter is just the

thing to answer them...

Q: I only buy wine. Can I still give you my money?

A: Totally. In fact, our quiet, down-low beta wine site has now made its formal

debut. For Free Shipping on this week's exclusive offering, click the link

cards now, too. Whoopee.

Q: I don't like today's woot. Can I give somebody else my money?

A: Please do. If you don't want today's main Woot offering, let the Side Deal

scratch your spending itch.

Q: Can you send me a text message when you'd like my money?

phone, anytime to hear our current podcast - and have a daily SMS text alert of

the latest Woot offering sent to your cell phone.

Q: Can I brag about giving you my money?

A: Feel free to head on over to our community forums and brag your heart out.

Our coding elves have been cobbling away in their magical workshop to bring you,

the wooter, the gift of a better forum experience. After all their work, the

least you could do is check it out.

OK, we're gonna let you go now, because we've got lots of product to write about

before Thursday. Thanks for reading this far - hope you got plenty of sleep last

night...

I've been on the market for a new digital camera and possibly a new iPod speaker/dock thingy. Very excited for this woot off.

And, of course, there's always the coveted BOC.

I check Woot occasionaly, but apparently, today I've stumbled into a "WootOff". Can someone tell me if there's any known schedule for these WootOffs?

If a Woot-off doesn't drag my GB Hebert the Hippo out of the woodwork here ... nothing will.

On a side note, I bucked-up and bought a new coffee maker at Target last weekend. And the new hard drive came from NewEgg.

So I really don't "need" anything I don't think.

I'll have the Visa handy just in case.

Nope, no schedule. And usually there's no warning either. Although this time they kind of alluded to it in their first ever newsletter.

Yup, I noticed the reference as well. The Woot-off just goes for a day, sometimes two, and they just keep selling an item till it sells out, then move onto the next. Typically productivity at FFAers' employers plummets during woot-offs.

If some FBGer would like to buy about 50 hard drives, that would be great. This thing has been up here forever.

I'm crossing my fingers that there's another set of speakers that they'll put up around $30-40.

They often have some nice speakers/home theater system setups. The hard drives kill me.Almost as much as the video cards. The 18 year old antisocial male demographic must really drive the woot market.

I would say that is a pretty safe bet.
