How is it scored? I got all 8 words, so why are some showing as a number and others with a clock looking thing? and how did you get 8 vs my 9?

guessing you have to get them all before 10. I see that I had 3 of those clock things and you only had 2. I tried SNORE first in the lower right and had to use an extra turn for SCORN. maybe that was the difference. looks like you hit a winner from 5-10 and I had that one extra turn, then hit a winner from 6-10

The clocks are just representations of the numbers, except with clock hands. 11, 12 and 13 (which is 1pm on the clock). It's dumb, but you get used to it. Nine is a perfect game. Means you got all words without missing on a guess. Eight is great too, just means that you solved it, but missed on one guess along the way.
