Participate in a weekly (7 round) Wordle "boxing" match with my bro. Score points by answering with fewer attempts. A 2 point round counts as a knockdown. Two knockdowns and it's over. A three point round is a TKO. This week:

Me:   4,3,4,4

Him: 4,4,4,4

Slim lead. Got to be cautious. I've settled upon STERN as my go to starting word. Clear out those consonants. Anyone have something better? Sorry, new to the thread.

It forces you to use the clue as you got it.  So if you get a green I in the third box, subsequent turns MUST have I as the third letter.  Similarly, if you have a yellow S on the first box, you MUST use an S, but it MUST NOT be the first box.

huh, just tried it and this is correct. i must have been still on regular mode when it happened to me.
