New phone and need to start the “streak” over. (Saw the NYT login feature to save across multiple devices; tried that to recover my stats, but must have mucked it up.) Let’s see if can top the 105 that I was at.

NYMPH came on a weekend shortly after NYT took over.  I know that because I distinctly remember thinking that the NYT version of this game was about to get a lot harder.

Screwed up and went to my old starter from habit. I think the double vowel to pin down the placement helped, but now that I think about it, lifer, liner, and liger were all in play for someone who doesn’t check the word list.

19 unique letters through four guesses and I was staring at Q, W, Z, D, F, G, J, and E. In some ways it's nice because there was really only one option, but it's tough when that one word just doesn't come to you right away.

I know a lot of people prefer to identify vowels with their starting words but IDC. Eliminating consonants & combinations is more helpful than identifying vowels (to me.) As @FBG26 alluded to, a ton of black gets you that much closer to a solution.

I’m more scared when I hit a bunch of letters early & have to start guessing one letter. fight-light-might-night-right-sight-tight type words are streak killers.
