Should have been 10 instead of 12 guesses. Didn’t pay attention to letters guessed way at the top so took 2 guesses that couldn’t have been it and then got next guess right.

FYI, those aren’t time warnings. For some reason, guesses starting at 11 get clocks that point to 11 o’clock, 12 o’clock and I assume 1 o’clock. Has nothing to do with time. Also not sure the point when 10 is displayed without the clock.

Shouldn’t be too hard. 2nd guess was just a way more common word. 3rd guess was easy after 2nd since with 1st it basically told me the order and just needed first letter.

Lately I've been playing Wordle, Quordle, Octordle, and Nerdle most days.

Octordle seems to be the hardest. If I get caught in a situation where multiple letters can fit a single slot, I almost always lose. That happened to me today. Seems like I win like 60% of those (and I can't find where they keep stats). Quordle, I'm winning above 90% of the time, same with OG Wordle.

I wanted to talk about Nerdle. I've only done it 12 times but I'm 12 for 12. It seems like it's too easy. Is it? Or have I just gotten lucky that I've had a lot of easily solvable puzzles?

Funny thing is I've been playing on hard mode for the last week or so, and that's (probably) the only reason I got this in 2.  I used to just auto-enter the same first three words every day without even looking, ensuring I would usually never get it in less than 4.

i like to use multi answer groupings to start ... trace/crate, steal/stale/slate, table/bleat, slope/poles, etc
