Spent hours working on this off and on and no words fit with what I had left to use in the spaces provided and the letters unused. Finally came up with the right answer

I knew it wasn't the answer because I had already used M on my previous guess. But it allowed me to use a U and put the I at a different position, so I went with it. I stilled stared at it for a good 15 minutes before finally solving.

Anode is a word?

It's half of a battery, the anode and the cathode. I can't remember which one is positive and negative. It's even on the official Wordle word list (although I had been using it for a long time as my starter before ever checking)
