Had to use a burner to get started - grump. Got lucky on the 50/50 between blank and flank. I know I’ve said this before and been proven wrong, but this one seems impossible to score a 9. Without the burner word I was lost.

Add one more to the Rescue massacre today. Used a burner out of the gate, Plier. Then went Puffy over Puppy. And even though I had the F exposed, still guessed Blank. Stupid. I mean, I was toast anyway, but should have had a seven rather than a six.

On this one, I agree. We were given nothing to start with. Even solving in 8 like you did is pretty impressive with this mess of a puzzle. That said, even though I lost, I liked the challenge.
