The 3rd down bell played by almost everyone, at every level of football, is extremely annoying. The Patriots have to one-up everyone, so they have the 3rd down fog horn. :X

Also the sound of a grown man puking in the bathroom because he tailgated too much is pretty bad.

The 3rd down "the bell tolls for thee" when the home team is losing by 14 points with two minutes left in the 4Q is not as ominous. It's stupid when it doesn't mean anything anymore. Or even worse, when it starts to work against you. I remember last season some home team had it, but they were giving up 90% of their 3rd downs on defense. It became like a subconscious cue to the offense that they were about to gain a first down.
