I can understand being down on players like Leinart, Orton and Young, but let's get real here.

If you have seen Croyle play and did not vote for him, sober up and vote again. :goodposting:

Other - Vince Young
Dammit I voted Jackson. Young sucks so bad that I forgot he actually tries to play QB.Worst 5:1. Young (He's destroying any hopes of this team improving. Locked in as the starter until they give up totally on him - 2+ more years of horrid QB play)2. Jackson (Love the jump pass, he has no QB skills - luckily for the Vikings he should get hurt again or flat out benched eventually)3. Leinart (He's making a strong case early but it is tough road ahead trying to claim that #1 spot. Likely benched before that.) 4. Russell ( I expect him to make an assault on the #1 spot - showcased the passing game last night: 0 points)5. Boller (He can throw it thru the goalposts on 1 knee form the 50 - great reason to draft him, Billick. Would rank higher but may not even start)LOL that Matt Ryan is in there. He has already showed more skill than every QB on the list - combined. That's bad considering he has play less that 1 full pre-season game.

Tough choice there. But I went with Boeller. The guy has had multiple chances and even with decent weapons there (Mason, Heap, Lewis before McGahee, etc.) and a decent O-line, and he can't hack it.

Leinart would probably be #2 on my list right now. The guy doesn't have the greatest line, but he has serious weapons in Boldin, Fitz, Pope, and James, and he is sucking it up big time.

I think Young would be #3 on this list. He's been the starter since the beginning of his career, and looked worse than mediocre. Now in this case, I don't think it's just him though -- his weapons are lacking too. I mean, the guy has never had a decent #1 WR...

Orton is probably #4. What few starts he's had, he's looked bad. He may prove us all wrong, but I just don't think he's all that great of a QB. But hey, it could be worse... he could be Rex Grossman!

There could be a number of QBs at #5, ranging from Croyle to Russell...

You seriously think these 5 QBs are all worse than Croyle? :stalker:

:stalker: It seems like we've got a few more bad starters this year than in most other years. VY needs to be added to this poll.

I thought the 50 yarder from his knees was russell's thing?which is actually a good reason to draft him if you expect him to be on the ground a lot.

Croyle is right there. There is no denying his lack of talent. My problem with him is that 1. He's frail so he never lasts long (he can't totally destroy an offense of ther long haul like the other guys). 2. He works at a tremendous disadvantage: the herminator is his coach. I could see him battling Boller for #5 but no higher based on his frail body.

4. Russell ( I expect him to make an assault on the #1 spot - showcased the passing game last night: 0 points)5. Boller (He can throw it thru the goalposts on 1 knee form the 50 - great reason to draft him, Billick.

Boller was the original. No doubt Russell can do that though.

Russell did actually have one bad throw resulting in an INT last nite, but he also got robbed of a TD to Z.Miller. Miller's right foot & knee were in bounds before the rest of him came down out of the endzone. Unless w/ the changes to the forceout rule, one knee/hip/elbow/head no longer = two feet, it was a TD. Granted, not all of Russell's throws were on the mark, but I'd say he looked no worse than Roethlisberger last nite. He showed some great escapability, mobility and had some good throws. I'd like to see him take a little off some of his shorter throws, but he didn't look too bad for a guy who's been through ONE training camp.T.Jackson needs to be removed from this list. He's looked fairly impressive this preseason. V.Young, while a poor passer, brings enough to the table to win ROY two years ago. Let's see what happens w/ 'Dinger calling the plays this year. If he still sucks after this year, I'll jump on the dogpile.

The difference between some of the awful guys like Orton and Croyle and Matt Leinart is that Leinart gets protection and has weapons. Watching Croyle last night was not pretty, but there aren't many worse WR cores in the league and there sure aren't many worse OLs, especially with Branden Albert out. Oh, and did I mention that Larry Johnson averaged two yards per carry?

That is why Leinart is BY FAR the worst starting QB in the league ... for another two weeks until Kurt Warner starts.

I won't vote until Vince Young is on the list.

"Other" isn't specific enough in regards to him.

I've seen more than enough of Young to reach my decision. Most of the others on the list we haven't seen enough of.

If there are any others let me know and I'll add them. Of course this list will change as head coaches read the poll and make the appropriate personnel changes. LOL.

Voted Leinart - poor arm strength, bad footwork, and not much speed. And he's got two excellent receivers (and had a decent 3rd receiver in Johnson) to work with, but still can't get it done. What more do you need? At least Young poses a threat running the ball.

That said, there are many worthy candidates for this title.

i voted russell. he hasnt done anything except look lost. granted he hasnt had much of an opportunity, but a big arm means dik if you aint got the brains and work ethic.

While I voted Leinart (As of right now) at least I know that Johnson is now with SF. Breaston is the 3.Should Leinart be removed from this poll (ie-demoted) I would vote Orton.

:excited: Yeah, Tony Gonzalez and Dwayne Bowe suck. Clearly no match for teams like Chicago, Tennessee, and Miami.

That's two guys, and the depth behind them is frightening. The point at hand is that Arizona's top two blows Gonzalez and Bowe away, and the depth is better after them. Last night's game as an example, not a single player could get open. Hard for Croyle to find anyone in that situation.Out in Oakland, however, guys were open. It's just that Leinart's noodle arm and terrible accuracy couldn't get it to them.

Good summary of Russell. The Raiders have dug a hole = to the Titans mess. Like a previous poster said, 'Young at least can run' when he fails to see the open receiver. Russell can't even do that.Trent Edwards has skills. No need for him on this list. Owners of Lee Evans don't like Edwards because they would rather have JP Loserman chucking it deep every series to Evans.
