So I just got offered a 1st rounder and the guy did not include any players on my team to be included in the deal. I had just updated my trading block so I am pretty confident that he didnt want to just give me his 1st rounder.

Anyway, I rejected the deal because I would feel uncomfortable accepting it. Just wanted to see how many owners would have accepted it and let the commish deal with it.

Sorry, but unless you want to be accused of collusion you should turn it down. It would not go through in any league I'm part of.

I would have done it.

It's obviously not going to through.

Teach the guy a lesson, plus you get to make fun of him more.

Happened in one of my leagues. The commish decided to let the guy sweat a little bit before correcting the mistake.

I think you made the correct choice.......you don't want to stir up questions for collusion

I think your actions were perfect.

I have a guy in one league who intentionally sends an offer w/o your side filled in when he is inquiring about a possible deal. Of course, he places a note in the message portion and I know that it is his method.

Absolutely not. You made the right move. While I do not know anything about the league (free yahoo league, highly competitive, friend league, etc.), I can imagine the damage done by basically severing all future deals with this owner, and ruining your reputation among the league, would far outweigh what you'd gain from that one particular trade.

Seems that would work better the other way.

:penalty:
 Happened to me ........ I accepted the offer and thanked and told the owner that is was a nice olive branch to start negotiations.

Had to bust his stones for a little while...

all those who say "turn it down" are not getting the whole point of fantasy football....... It's to have fun and joke around.

Of coarse a trade like that would not go through.

We have a rule that technical mistakes void a trade. That would include not putting a player in as that could have been an interface based error or something.
