I am faced with a dilema, one that I think I know the outcome. I actually enjoy being at home or at the bar watching all the games but when the opp arises to go to a game be it the Phins or the Bucs I try to go. Just found out I am going to the Bucs home opener and I am excited cause they are playing the Cowboys. But part of me kinda wishes I could just find a little bar stool down here in South Beach and watch all the games. But if I am truly a fan shouldn't I want to go root my team on?I am stoked about getting to see a game on NFL kickoff weekend. What say you?
Sean - I would rather be drafting.....or watching the draft for my turn to come up......Oh WAIT I can't because the Commissioner hasn't set it up yet!

Love going to Lambeau. Make at least one trip a year with the wife, and stay the weekend at a close by hotel so we can walk to the game. I usually drop about a grand every time we go, but the atmosphere is great. Almost college like.

You also have no shot at home of experiencing the "I was There" moment or game.

Could be any game, any time....the Dorsett 99-yard TD run, the Bo Jackson MNF game, the Montana/Chiefs vs Elway/Broncos game, the Herm Edwards fumble return, the White Shoes Johnson Hail Mary...in Tampa, the Rams MNF game, the Bryant FG, etc.

I'm sure all of you voting for home would prefer sitting there last Feb instead of being in Tampa...but I'll be showing my grandkids my video:

There's obviously no right or wrong answer to this question, and to each his own, but honestly I had a blast watching the Super Bowl at home with my friends and family last year, just like I do every year. It's an all day event for us and I wouldn't trade it for anything, including being at the game. (Slightly off topic, but my friends and I enter the RotoBowl, for which the grand prize includes two Super Bowl tickets, and in the unlikely event I ever won, I've always said I would sell the tickets. I have absolutely no interest in going to the Super Bowl, and can think of hundreds of things I'd rather do with the money I could get for the tickets.) I'm also the type that doesn't see how showing my grandkids a video I took of the game is that big of a deal, and I've never been into the whole "I was there!" thing. No offense to those who get excited about that kind of stuff - it's all subjective - but I prefer the comfort of home with all the food and beer and instant replays and all the other advantages, to being able to say "I was there." Besides, I could always say I was there anyway, who would know?

1) Live game by far. former season-tickerholder (moved for career) nothing like the week-in week out game experience for me.

2) Sports bar- helps that the Texans are not shown in my area regularly

3) Home- until I get a manspace too much family, computers, etc to just focus and enjoy football
