the Broncos cheated the salary cap during their super bowl years.......people forget things over time
ftr that was a cash-flow issue.... not a circumvention of salary cap or to gain a competitive advantage.
violation/manipulation they were penalized for.....they knew what they were doing.....had they played by the rules the makeup of the team may have been different.....

They're getting away with it so it doesn't matter.

Might as well take the rings

It's like the Roid Sox up in Boston ...

They would have never won a championship without the Roids. But they did and it changed history forever and there is nothing anyone can do about it now.

Not a Red Sox fan, but the notion that any team's World Series titles were tainted by steroids is ridiculous. Bonds' HR record? Clemens' last few Cy Youngs? Sure. But given how widespread the steroid use was, it's impossible to say any one team benefitted more than any other. Do you really think there was any team during that era that was totally clean?

The voters in this thread are such ####### liars. The ones saying they wouldn't take the rings and put up with the scandals, that is.

I think it really depends on if you're a fan of a team that can accomplish this without cheating or not. Clearly the Pats aren't that type of team since they have shown a continued need to so during their run, but if you were the fan of the Browns, Raiders, Jags, or any perennial sub .500 team, cheating and winning a Super Bowl or two could be a HUGE boom to your franchise from both FA recruiting as well as fan base and help your team for years to come. It would be enough to pull you out of the depths of the spiral of failure fans, and even the players, have come to expect.
