It's hard to get a feel for what your drafts look like in such a heavy keeper league, but the team that gave him up has at least 6 picks in the first three rounds after this trade, plus a lot of good young RBs. Plus as mentioned in another post he will have picks to deal in the offseason too, perhaps to move up.
