At this moment I'll sacrifice my manhood and say I love A J Brown.I love this man. Took some stones but I started him over Sony Michel & Jeff Wilson
Imagine A.J. dramatically coming back from the dead to bless the teams who somehow made the playoffs despite him. A man can dream.
And dream we did.Imagine A.J. dramatically coming back from the dead to bless the teams who somehow made the playoffs despite him. A man can dream.
Should have been this way all season.AJ is a beast to bring down. Get the ball in his hands, sit back and watch.
Nice call. Got him in my lineup. Cheers...He tweeted on Sunday… I miss playing football….
Brown is going to deliver an early stocking filled with fantasy points!!! Let’s go AJB… been holding onto you for this very moment…prime time
Boo ya.Starting him over Gallup. Every year there’s a guy who underachieves in the regular season but explodes in the fantasy playoffs. Maybe we will get lucky.
Can't imagine what he puts up next week when the rust is shaken off.Benched him to shake off the rust for next week. Hoping there is a next week for me ...![]()
Easier to say today. I have really good receiver depth and there were a lot of factors that pointed to him not producing. I finally sided with the fact that he didn’t have Covid as my deciding factor but understand why some sat him.You likely spent a late 2nd/early 3rd on him in redrafts. He's legitimately always a candidate for these types of games when he's healthy. How people could leave a healthy player that you spent that much draft capital on sitting on the bench in the playoffs is beyond me. Too much thinking. This time of the year you lean toward ceilings anyway, and not many have one higher. I think it was an easy decision to play him if you had him.
They also just don’t have a lot of talent in that secondary.AJB is a stud but that was one of the worst lack of in game adjustments by the SF Defensive coaching staff I can recall in some time.
Plays like getting first downs should absolutely be worth moreI'm gonna argue that Brown had the best game of the season by any WR in the NFL last night. I know other guys have had bigger stat lines, but Brown literally accounted for 70% of his team's offense, despite everyone knowing he was getting the ball.
He also had 8 3rd down catches that resulted in 1st downs, meaning almost all of his production was extremely valuable, and not filler yards.
Kupp has had a couple that I would have to put above him, but I’m with you for the most part. It was an incredible performance, especially considering he was returning from injury. A man among boys out there.I'm gonna argue that Brown had the best game of the season by any WR in the NFL last night. Well, in one league I picked him up a few weeks ago on waivers after an owner dropped him and I started him last night. In another league I left him on the bench for Chase and Patterson. Really depends on your other options. You likely spent a late 2nd/early 3rd on him in redrafts. He's legitimately always a candidate for these types of games when he's healthy. NFL Network's Mike Garafolo reports that A.J. Brown's absence from practice on Thursday was "more precautionary than anything" and that Brown is on track to play Sunday.
Phew. Nothing has come easy for managers relying on Brown this year, but it looks like this wasn't anything to get too wound up about. Assuming nothing else goes wrong, Brown will be an easy WR1 option for the receiver-starved Titans against Miami. Brown was officially listed with a calf injury.

Speaking Sunday, Titans GM Jon Robinson said "A.J. [Brown] is a Titans and we want to keep A.J. a Titan. And that's part of our goal this offseason, or whenever that manifests itself."
The market for franchise wideouts has exploded this offseason between the Tyreek Hill and Devante Adams trades, which caused some concern for Seahawks GM John Schneider last week when it came to extending D.K. Metcalf. This is not the same kind of tone from Robinson, who is still in the preliminary stage of talks with Brown. Brown's in the final year of his rookie contract and has been wildly productive when he's been able to suit up. The Titans will have the franchise tag for leverage if it comes to that, but the discourse has been positive so far.

ESPN's Dianna Russini reports the Titans are "not shopping or taking calls" on A.J. Brown.
It seems Brown won't be among the receivers on a new roster in 2022 despite persistent rumors the Jets -- among other teams -- have expressed interest in acquiring the 24 year old. Titans general manager Jon Robinson said in March that the team intended to sign Brown -- entering the final year of his rookie seal -- to a contract extension amid an explosion in wide receiver pay. If the sides can't come to an agreement on a long-term deal, the Titans would surely use the franchise tag to keep Brown into the 2023 season. Brown's laundry list of injuries over the past two seasons could undermine his ability to land a mega contract fitting of a dominant alpha wideout entering his prime. Without Brown, Tennessee would have one of the worst -- if not the worst -- wide receiver group in the NFL.

Appearing on The Rich Eisen Show Thursday, Titans coach Mike Vrabel flatly denied there is a chance A.J. Brown could be traded.
"Not as long as I'm the head coach," was Vrabel's response to the question of Brown's trade status. Formerly denied through back channels, the Titans have now put a public name on it. Brown will not be dealt, even though extension talks seem to be stagnant. Two months shy of his 25th birthday, Brown is headed into the final year of his rookie contract.

Mike Keith of The Official Titans Podcast reports Titans GM Jon Robinson shared with him at the NFL owners meeting that he has "no interest" in trading A.J. Brown.
This lines up with comments made by Mike Vrabel earlier this week, who said Brown wouldn't be traded as long as he is head coach. Brown is on the final year of his rookie contract and set to turn 25 in two months. Talks of a contract extension between Brown and the Titans appear to be non-existent at this point, but Robinson expressed interest in extending Brown back in March. The wide receiver market has exploded this offseason with several receivers landing big deals. Brown is certain to secure a lucrative extension at some point, but it may not come prior to Week 1.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports A.J. Brown won't participate in the Titans' offseason program as he pushes for a long-term contract.
While the Titans front office bats away any and all trade talk surrounding Brown, the fourth-year wideout is rightly waiting for a long-term deal entering the final season of his rookie contract. Turning 25 in June, Brown has proven dominant when healthy during his three years in the run-heavy Tennessee offense. Titans general manager Jon Robinson has said repeatedly that the team's goal is to sign Brown to an extension this offseason. An explosion in wideout salary over the past couple months could make Brown's extension surprisingly rich. He's clearly a foundational player for the Titans, who must be looking beyond the Derrick Henry era headed into the 2022 season. Brown is slated to make around $4.5 million this season, slightly more than receivers like Randle Cobb and Byron Pringle.

A.J. Brown removed “TENNESSEE” from his bio
Titans GM Jon Robinson "does not foresee" the team trading A.J. Brown.
The Titans have been adamant they will not be trading Brown, and Robinson once again confirmed that on Thursday. Robinson said he has talked about a new deal with Brown's reps but declined to discuss how those talks are going. At this point, it would be a surprise if Brown is moved, but nothing can be ruled out this offseason.
