WR A.J. Brown, PHI (20 Viewers)

I heard AJB to IND for 1st rounder and PHI pays for their soda for 3 yrs.

A lot of people are saying this. A lot of very good people said this.

What does “pays for their soda for 3 years” mean?
Eat the salary? Isn’t that $90 mil?
The Colts don’t need WRs, they need a cornerback. Why in Gods name would they want to trade for a WR?
As bogus rumors with no credible sources go it's pretty weak even by that low standard for what you are saying. Absolutely not what they need and when they actually did need a WR it's not a move Ballard ever made.

Yeah, some of this stuff isn’t worth the ink used.

AJ to KC for Hollywood Brown and a 6th
Neither team will have to change the last name on the respective lockers
I think you’re kidding, but I highly doubt they’d trade him to a team they might play in the Super Bowl.

Not likely he gets moved at all but there’s some smoke here.
No I'm not kidding
Neither team would have to change the last name on their lockers
That's a money saver

Just an fyi re: cap hit with regards to trading AJ, there is no hit this year at all. $40 million dead cap hit next year.
The cap hit would be $90m
Howie would restructure and trade. The reality is that the cap hit would be $40. Either way it’s probably too onerous unless the haul is just too good to pass up. I think at this point it’s clear that they are shopping him. We’ll see what happens in the next week or so. My gut is that Howie already has a deal in place.

Spotrac data tells me he is not getting traded. Eagles would take a $43 MM dead cap hit for 2026, which is $20 MM *more* than Brown's 2026 cap number. Teams are willing to take dead cap hits when less than the scheduled cap charge of a player (e.g. Russ Wilson in Denver). In that type of situation, there is a dead cap charge, but also cap relief when a player is cut. In this case, the Eagles would be looking at an additional $20 MM in cap obligation next year if they trade him. Unless he has become an unbearable cancer, that seems highly unlikely to happen.

Would explain why they are loading up on defensive players and not offense.

I do think he stays.
Eagles loaded up on three defensive players.
They don't need AJB to win.
Will we keep seeing boom/bust redraft value ROS? All I care about is his FF outlook.
I need more consistency.

Eagles have said they're not trading him this season. More likely traded in the offseason with a post-June 1 designation.

Does anyone know if he's playing this week?
My question as well. Plays Monday night - not great.
First practice isn't until tomorrow

Patience will pay off
Curious to know, with Brown's hamstring history to date, have guys been steadfast and keeping him or moving on for someone in his tier like Odunze?
FBG has Brown well above Odunze tier in rest of schedule rankings. Brown at 26 overall and Odunze at 62. McMillan at 27, Harrison Jr at 28 and Egbuka at 31 are in his tier.

Wow, I seen rankings where Brown is ranked alot higher. For example FFtoday has him #15 ROS.

Brown is more than capable of ripping off a 3 or 4 game streak that will propel owners deep into the playoffs.

Of course, the opposite is also true,,,,,,,,
