Maybe he and Lamar share an agent?Umm apparently he just announced he's returning to the NFL with the Ravens. I don't know if the Ravens know about this though.
Didn’t his agent drop him when he went insane?Maybe he and Lamar share an agent?Umm apparently he just announced he's returning to the NFL with the Ravens. I don't know if the Ravens know about this though.
That's a bizarre story on a few fronts but as far as I can recall he does not like to pay anyone for anything, a really despicable trait about him.Is he not paying players? That was what I had heard.
The team was given until 12:00 p.m. eastern time on Thursday to make the required payment. If it failed to do so, the team would be exiled from the league.“AFTER EXHAUSTING ALL AVENUES, THE NAL BOARD OF OWNERS HAVE DECIDED UNANIMOUSLY TO TERMINATE THE MEMBERSHIP AGREEMENT OF THE ALBANY EMPIRE,” THE LEAGUE SAID IN A STATEMENT. “THE DECISION WAS REACHED AFTER AN EMERGENCY CONFERENCE CALL OF THE MEMBERS IN GOOD STANDING TO DISCUSS THE EMPIRE’S FAILURE TO PAY THEIR LEAGUE MANDATED AND OVERDUE ASSESSMENTS. EACH TEAM IS RESPONSIBLE TO PAY FOR 1/7 OF THE LEAGUE’S OPERATING BUDGET VIA MONTHLY ASSESSMENTS STARTING IN APRIL. THE EMPIRE’S OWNER, ANTONIO BROWN, WAS ALSO FINED $1,000 FOR CONDUCT DETRIMENTAL TO THE LEAGUE FOR HIS RECENT PUBLIC COMMENTS. MR. BROWN REFUSED TO PAY THAT FINE.”
Ouch. Never liked him, butAntonio Brown’s Arena Team Gets Kicked Out Of League
Everything Antonio Brown touches seems to be going to poop these days.
The National Arena League has kicked the Albany Empire after their owner, former Steelers & Bucs WR Antonio Brown, failed to make mandatory operating payments to the league nd pay a fine for conduct detrimental to the league.
The league said in a news release the decision was reached “after an emergency conference call of the members in good standing to discuss the Empire’s failure to pay their league-mandated and overdue assessments.”
The NAL released this statement:

Here's a few bizarre shirtless after practice interview clips where he claims to have saved Albany football, says that he is Antonio and "AB" is a character "co-existed" by the media and has like 3 different personalities. He also wonders if AB will pay him (Antonio) to play and warns not to let "the minutia of people" distract you
His brain is so cooked.
At first I thought you were upset he lost his team but then I started watching the video clip, may I join you?Ouch. Never liked him, butAntonio Brown’s Arena Team Gets Kicked Out Of League

Holy ****.
Paying 1.5 million in workers comp to move practice from Massachusetts to Albany, and not paying your players / employees ?
Raiders fans might says that, like the soles of his feet, Antonio Brown’s assets will be frozen.
Stupid people with money are still stupid people.
$88M career earnings.Isnt his career earnings north of $80 million?
Metcalf was fun to watch, fumbles notwithstanding.I just ran across this stat and had to post it somewhere. May as well be in here.
RB Terry Metcalf played for the St Louis Cardinals and Washington Redskins between 1973 and 1981. He started 61 games and had 62 lost fumbles. With only 1011 lifetime touches, that was a fumble every 16 touches.
Wish you'd have put this in the Marshawn Lloyd thread so maybe everyone would quit trying to make a mountain out a mole hill about him fumbling 8 times in college.I just ran across this stat and had to post it somewhere. May as well be in here.

I wonder how many of the fumbles occurred while he was playing baseball? Aren't those called errors?I just ran across this stat and had to post it somewhere. May as well be in here.

when it’s all listed out like that it seems kind of bad.I remember thinking AB wasn’t a headcase until Burfict concussed him. But then I saw this Reddit comment that lists all the AB character issues and it dates back to his college days as well.

Any of us who have gone for a colonoscopy has “at some point” farted on a doctor.I can’t get past:when it’s all listed out like that it seems kind of bad.I remember thinking AB wasn’t a headcase until Burfict concussed him. Farted on a doctor
I've posted this before in the AB thread but an NFL scout I follow on twitter said the whole league knew he was bipolar before he entered the league.I remember thinking AB wasn’t a headcase until Burfict concussed him. Neither do I. And honestly, even if he went to the doctor right now and was diagnosed as having full-blown CTE, it wouldn't change how I feel about him.I've posted this before in the AB thread but an NFL scout I follow on twitter said the whole league knew he was bipolar before he entered the league.I remember thinking AB wasn’t a headcase until Burfict concussed him. I've never thought his antics had anything to do with the Burfict hit.

Metcalf also had 10 passing attempts, 84 punt returns, and 121 kick returns, so technically he also had another 215 secondary touches. That pushes him close to one fumble every 20 touches, which is still terrible, but slightly less terrible.I just ran across this stat and had to post it somewhere. May as well be in here.
