Maybe draft a fullback and a kicker with their first two draft picks.Might as well grab Bell while they're at it.
I think they might. Told a friend that they may get both and Metcalf and try and score gobs of pointsMight as well grab Bell while they're at it.
And then go 6 and 10 for two years. Just good enough for long term QB purgatory.I think they might. Told a friend that they may get both and Metcalf and try and score gobs of points
Yeah, pretty much. And then go 6 and 10 for two years. Just good enough for long term QB purgatory.
They'd be better off trading all 3 of their 1st for Kyler Murray.I think they might. Told a friend that they may get both and Metcalf and try and score gobs of points
Someone changed Wikipedia showing steelers at #4 and raiders #20
Vic saving face for Buffalo.Vic was first person last night to tweet out the deal with the Bills was not going down. Good source and he wrote a good breakdown of the trade talks with one main takeaway is the Bills felt had they agreed on financial terms he'd have been happy to come: Inside the Bills trade that never happened
Brown wants a giant contract. Any team buying him is going to be hesitant to give up both big guaranteed money AND a high draft pick, as many of us said early on with this...."Whatever compensation the Bills would agree to give the Steelers was directly tied to whatever financial terms Brown was seeking. It stands to reason that the larger the payout for Brown, the lower the compensation the team would be willing to give in order to reduce the risk, and vice versa.
As the talks unfolded, it didn't take long to determine the trade was going nowhere."
Give me an example of an offerMy question is what is Brown dynasty owners doing?
Are you willing to part with Brown in fear of another Bell style hold out? Holding thinking he will be traded to a good location? Waiting to see where the location is and then deciding to risk getting less later if you decide to part ways with him? Or not even considering trading him no matter where he goes because the player is that good even at 31.
What do you mean you don't think it is real? Do you think he is acting? If he is acting, the behavior is still horrible, and it is happening in reality.I don't for one second believe this display of horrible behavior is real. I just don't buy it at all. Brown wants a new contract in a place he deems suitable for himself.
He started showing signs of the Me player in 2017, and it got worse in 2018. There were times in 2018 that JuJu got the TD pass, and everybody celebrated except him. He actually looked unhappy. He turned into a stats guy, not a team player. If I were the Steelers, I would happily let him move on to another team.I believe he is doing just for the contract. Just to get a new deal that is it and for no other reason. He is 31 and knows if he stays under the contract for the duration of the contract he will be 33 or 34 when he becomes a free agent.
I feel he would be valuable to my team on 31 teamsI don't know. I was asking Brown owners their feelings on Brown, not a specific offer.
I'm waiting. There's a decent chance he ends up somewhere where his value doesn't go down. I'll wait this out and see. In any case, I'm not fire selling him. He just won me a title. My question is what is Brown dynasty owners doing?

I hope he’s not. I wanna see just how crazy he gets.I hope he is acting
that would be a sad end to a great careerI hope he’s not. I wanna see just how crazy he gets.![]()
Andre Reed was pretty damn good.I am a Steeler homer, or fan anyway and this whole thing blows but I still really like AB.
And he's the best WR the Buffalo Bills have ever had.
I'm sure we can rattle off several Bills WR's that were pretty damn good but he's still not as good as AB.Andre Reed was pretty damn good.
Can’t compare the two. The league is not the same as it was back then. Now you have QB’s throwing for records and wrs catching for records.I'm sure we can rattle off several Bills WR's that were pretty damn good but he's still not as good as AB.
You’re not as clever as you think you are.Was only thing correct you said![]()
From a football standpoint, what is Brown not great at? He has speed, ability to separate, great hands and an elite route runner. Sure he’s playing in an era that benefits receivers but he’s still one of the best we have ever seen. I don’t think that’s a stretch.Oh stop it.
Which pick?Looks like he’s going to the Raiders: https://ftw.usatoday.com/2019/03/antonio-brown-trade-next-team
The last game he played was 3 months ago and he had 185 yards and 2 TDS.From a football standpoint, what is Brown not great at? i don’t think meno was ripping on the bills with his comment. I think he would make the same comment for just about any other team.
I would say Reed benefited from his situation quite a bit also, no? Kelly.......K Gun...........Can’t compare the two. The league is not the same as it was back then. Now you have QB’s throwing for records and wrs catching for records.
I actually think Brown is a product of Big Ben and the offense. He’s very good. But not as good as his numbers suggest.
just vote him team MVP and he should be fineHope he is okay with 70-900 in OAK if that is the case.
He'd love it there. They will be bad again and he can rack up the garbage catches and yards, since all he cares about are stats anyway. They will lose 41-20 and he will be giddy over putting up 12-160-1, most of which will be gotten in the 4th quarter.Hope he is okay with 70-900 in OAK if that is the case.

That is correct, including the Steelers.i don’t think meno was ripping on the bills with his comment. I think he would make the same comment for just about any other team.
If anyone ever posts these odds please send me a PM so I can bet the over and make some easy money.Hope he is okay with 70-900 in OAK if that is the case.
That's a pretty weak stretch. Cooper's not AB, I like him a lot but he's not AB. Sometimes a QB/WR pairing just does not work. One example is Hopkins was worse with Osweiller then Sander or Demaryius. With Carr and Cooper I think part of the problem was you had two relatively quiet players who might even be described as not aggressive. Was a bad match. AB's not going to disappear for quarters/games.It was neat when Gruden designed his offense around Cooper last year.
You are absolutely right about his production over the last 6 years, it's been insane. But when people project lower numbers in the future for AB it's due to the new situation he will be in and not about him specifically. Will he get as many targets? Will the QB be able to force him the ball even if he is double covered? Etc. AB may stay at his elite level for many years to come, but his production could drop due to circumstances beyond his control.PSA for all of you seemingly caught up in the moment of bashing AB and seem to have forgot just how great he's been. I'll reverse cherry pick. If you take his last 6 seasons and picked out his WORST numbers each season for catches, yards and TD's it would look like this.
