WR Chimere Dike, TEN (1 Viewer)

@MathBomb
Chimere Dike was drafted in round 4 pick 103 in the 2025 draft class. He scored a 9.72 #RAS out of a possible 10.00. This ranked 109 out of 3816 WR from 1987 to 2025.

These 10 NFL Draft sleepers had awesome combine workouts, but are they actually good prospects?

Excerpt:

Chimere Dike
Notable workout figures

  • 40-yard dash 4.34 seconds
  • 10-yard split: 1.51 seconds
  • Vertical jump: 38.5 inches
  • Broad jump: 10-feet-8
  • Three cone: 6.82 seconds
Is he good? Not quite | New projected round range: Round 5-6

Another year, another obscure Florida receiver with a freaky workout on his resume. Remember Freddie Swain and Tyrie Cleveland? I got those vibes with Dike on film. He doesn't run overly crisp routes but routinely threatened defenses deep, as evidenced by his 4.34 speed. His hands were a real issue in college -- at Wisconsin and Florida -- and when he wasn't asked to simply get vertical and break off the top of his route stem, there were issues generating separation.

Dike can and likely will have a speed role in the NFL. But his workout is unlikely to catapult him far up the boards, because there's plenty of rawness to his game, and he started his college career in 2020, so he's an older prospect.

A Titans reporter did a nice job tonight outlining things-
Dike has only two snaps NOT in the slot. Callahan's insistence on playing all three, this is a considerable negative.
Lockett looks old. He could be Tyler Boyd II. The OL struggles or success could dictate this too but Dike being the Titans slot taking over for Lockett midseason, in this offense....we'll have to see if that even is a good thing.
Elic could be starting and/or getting third most snaps.
Oliver has performed very well. If the Dike by midseason plan is in place, what has Oliver done in that time too?

As I've said many times- people forget there isn't much patience in season. He won't be active if he can't play ST. No 5th 6th WR in the NFL will be either. It's just that cut n dry.

Callahan said they plan to work on ST (among other things) this week and make it another week of TC. This is an enormous week for Dike to earn some trust and get active.

13 padded practices in-season. That's it.
