Was during the 3rd quater of the game last night. The announcers stated that Palmer like Henry alot and compared him to Randy in relatiion to his Speed/Height and playmaking ability.
 
I have heard this comparison before, and I think there is some validity to it, unfortunately the guy seems to be a turnip in the smarts department.

 
As a Henry owner, it would be nice to see his suspension reduced. Although when the suspension kicks in and he can't practice that will give him a lot of time to engage in other activities that may get him in further trouble. I guess we'll find out soon enough.

 
I just traded him dynasty league ( Actually i almost gave him away needed a Qb and he was part of the deal ) it s like a flip of the coin where you probably have 25 % chances he might smaten up and 75 % he will get arrested again and that would be the end .

You can get a guy out of the ghetto but cant get the ghetto out of him i guess.

Not quite a concrete list....but IIRC...something like....1. Possesion of Marijuana2. possesing a firearm and brandishing it outside a club (while wearing his own jersey)3. involved in a DUI (with Thurman I think)4. drinking and distributing alchohol to underage girls.just dumb moves that while not quite malicious....harmful enough to get him on Goodell's s***list.

He has been being a good boy lately though.... I heard something about him having a kid now and it's making him straighten up. We'll see. I've noticed that he hands the ball to the ref.... that's a start.

The kid is a great talent onfield.....I just hope he can get his act together off of it.I can only imagine the production Palmer would get from a full year of #85, TJ, and Henry. Not to mention the help it would give Rudi, keeping the safeties deep
 
Talent has never been the issue. He's not as fast as Randy Moss, but he's a beast on jump balls and a major big play threat due to his size and athletic ability. He has the talent to be a WR1 in the NFL, but he'll have to earn the opportunity to start. I don't think many NFL GMs would feel comfortable signing him to be a starter for their football team.

He's a good dynasty buy though because at least you know he has the talent. That's not true of very many WRs ranked in the same neighborhood.

I traded for Henry a few months back, for a mid second round rookie pick in a dynasty. I also got Harrington thrown in since he was backup to my Vick, and Arrington since he was backup to my Edge.

I hate giving up picks, but the upside was too great for me to pass up.

He's been outstanding this preseason.

 
I'm considering rostering him in a 14 team redraft - and sitting on him :crossingfingers:

They said out till week 10 on TV last night, but half the season would be week 8 or 9, right?

Anyone else using a roster spot to avoid the sniping that will happen in about a month? (deeper leagues of course) He'd replace James Jones for me, and I think it might be worth the risk - as long as he can find a way to stay 'clean'. Any reduction in the suspension would make this even better.

8 weeks suspension = 8 games off1 bye week off (week 5)---------return in week 10
