Somehow barely alive in a league where I still am starting Hopkins and Robinson due to injuries/general suckitude. Going down with these guys...Could this be the week magic happens?? Cozy dome confines against a D just asking to be exploited!

I've got Robinson and Hopkins on the bench atm. Landry and Mitchell in over them but who knows. Sometimes it sucks to have too many (mediocre) options...Somehow barely alive in a league where I still am starting Hopkins and Robinson due to injuries/general suckitude. Going down with these guys...
Even with more targets, I'm not convinced that translates to more catches. With Fiedorowicz out should we expect more targets or just more to Griffin and other TE's to pick up the slack?
what about week 16...I need him to start in week 16 and lead me to week 17.Why didn't it take them so long to bench Osweiler? He hasn't been bad while showing promise, he's been horrific with zero improvement over the season.
Man, I hope Savage is the guy in week 17.
Same. I will be starting Hopkins if Brock isn't the starterwhat about week 16...I need him to start in week 16 and lead me to week 17.
yes, our league plays the Championship game in week 17. That's how its been since 1997.
Well I guess it did but possibly was more Savage saying "ef that I'm throwing to best offensive player if he's close to open."Even with more targets, I'm not convinced that translates to more catches.
The difference in accuracy and catchability felt like a night and day difference between Savage and Osweiler. I also felt like Hopkins has probably settled into a funk from what he's had to deal with from Osweiler at QB, and like yesterday he was playing with more spirit and effort than he has for awhile.Well I guess it did but possibly was more Savage saying "ef that I'm throwing to best offensive player if he's close to open."Even with more targets, I'm not convinced that translates to more catches.
DeAndre Hopkins has not practiced since August 9 because of a hand injury.
The injury is not believed to be serious, but it is slightly concerning Hopkins has now missed over a week of practice and a preseason game. Missing Monday's practice also suggests the receiver may not be ready for the "dress rehearsal" on Saturday. Hopkins still should be expected to return before Week 1, but this is a situation to monitor.

DeAndre Hopkins (hand) said he is "1,000 percent" healthy.
Hopkins was sidelined late in the preseason with a hand injury, but it looks like he will be ready to go for Week 1. Fresh off a monster extension, Hopkins should be in line for a bounce-back season.

54% market share which is pretty insaneHe salvaged a decent PPR day on that last drive. Watson was looking his way on nearly every passing play.
He runs a lot of hook routes and draws double coverage. He always has big play ability.Love Hopkins, but he doesn't seem to get much separation.
I think he goes off.Careful if you have Hopkins in your lineup this week.

Don’t think it would have been nearly as bad if the owner actually got the figure of speech correct. That poor man. I hope he survives that vicious figure-of-speech. He should probably take a full week off to fully recover.
I agree he should take the week off to evaluate the situation. Not because I'm playing against him. That poor man. I hope he survives that vicious figure-of-speech. He should probably take a full week off to fully recover.
If your boss called referred to you as an inmate at your job, I'm sure you would take kindly to it as wellThat poor man. I hope he survives that vicious figure-of-speech. He should probably take a full week off to fully recover.
I actually think this is true.Don’t think it would have been nearly as bad if the owner actually got the figure of speech correct.
True, but shouldn't Hopkins practice some common sense and realize it was a misspeak on the figure of speech?Don’t think it would have been nearly as bad if the owner actually got the figure of speech correct.
You're sure how I would react? If your boss called referred to you as an inmate at your job, I'm sure you would take kindly to it as well
Odds are, if you did, you wouldn't be welcomed back either. The owner had it right. These players are so self-absorbed now that they think they actually run the franchise, set the rules, etc. They seem to have lost site of the fact that they are, in reality, employees of the owner.I can tell you that you would surely be wrong. I wouldn't think twice about it. Especially if used in that context. And I wouldn't walk out of work 2 days before a big game/meeting/event because of it.
If your boss called referred to you as an inmate at your job, I'm sure you would take kindly to it as well
My boss once told us that we looked like a couple of monkeys trying #### a football. I never once thought that he he actually called me a monkey. Just happy not to be the football I guess. If your boss called referred to you as an inmate at your job, I'm sure you would take kindly to it as well
