WR Drake London, ATL (6 Viewers)

Oh, come on now.
People are just having a little fun.

Speaking from the perspective of someone who's been around since before these boards were created, EVERY Shark Pool Thread gets a little sidetracked, or hijacked briefly, every now and then, without compromising their purpose.

It's harmless, and if it generates a few chuckles, all the better. There's no such thing as too much innocent, good-natured humor, as long as stays within reason.

All work, and no play, makes Jack a dull boy.

Respectfully, now back to our previously scheduled program.

Still haven't warmed up to this guy yet. I see him constantly available to me in the mid/early 2nd and I don't love pulling the trigger.

Drake London’s two-catch, 15-yard performance against the Steelers left Raheem Morris feeling the need to get London the ball more.

It also left Steelers cornerback Joey Porter Jr. saying London “did a little warm-up” Sunday.

The killer part of the Week 1 film, given the result and QB play, for Drake London is that the deployment for him in this offense is perfect. Used in motion, snaps off the line in bunches and tons of in-breaking routes. No longer just stuck as a static X-receiver. Seeing it again tonight, as well.

No hotter garbage than this guy. I took him on a FFPC team in the second just to diversify the lineups a bit, no confidence he's WR1 on his own team.

There were moments before in the game when he was NFL open but Cousins seemed hesitant. That TD route was a solid juke then wide open.
Agree. Cousins has to trust him more on contested balls. He’s not Jefferson where he’s always going to be wide open.

7 targets, 6 catches and the crucial walk off td. Also luckily for him is that cousins doesn’t look as elderly as he did in week 1

It feels like it's not going to happen with him. I might explore some sells (dynasty) this week. Cousins didn't look amazing either.

I would say Pittman Jr is his ceiling but he already has a 12.5 YPR average the past two years. That is scratching the surface…but as a dynasty owner that is ready to win now, you should definitely ship him to a rebuilder.

London seems like a slow play but we’ll see. With the way WR’s are sucking across the league, 6-60-1 is high quality stuff lol

Nice to see London pick up the pace and Cousins look for him more. Not to be greedy, but wish the targets wouldn't mainly in crunch time down the stretch, as Cousins is looking for Mooney just as much earlier in the game.

Great to see him finally live up to expectations. Certainly realize so much of it depends on Cousins.

Got hurt at the end of the game.
Hope he is ok.

He was doing an interview after the game with the hottie Amazon sideline reporter. She didn’t ask about his injury and he seemed ok but we’ll see.

Being greedy, his stat line could have been even bigger had he not missed a chunk of time with the concussion check.

I've never liked London as a prospect nor player coming into this season. However I am looking silly now and should probably change my tune quickly.

Is he a top 10 FF WR ROS?

When he’s healthy (the hip pointer is good to go this week) he has been super solid, great floor. But he also only has 1 elite game on the year.

I view him in the WR10-14 range but hasn’t really proven he’s a true alpha who can win your week with a 35-45 point explosion. High floor but not a league winner.

He’s basically come in slightly ahead of where I drafted him: 3.07, 31st pick, WR15. Returned value but not exactly amazing.

on average, probably.

but I own him in a couple of leagues and I dont like his matchup this week. I'd expect Low to mid range WR2 numbers from him this week. he does have the ability to overcome the matchup but the real problem is this Defense tends to give up more passing yards to TE and RB out of the backfield than they do to WR so that makes me think this may be a game plan that involves Bijan and Pitts a whole lot more. Most of the WR1 this defense has faced got WR2 or WR3 numbers so I'm not overly optimistic. Especially noting that the team has other options (ie run, pass to the TE/RB) because this defense seems to be more vulnerable in those areas. The corners seem to be getting the job done.

he’s absolutely a league winner in the offense. Very good talent, in great situation with a QB that papers him with targets. Mooney added to the injury report with an achilles injury

he is. just not this week. though if Mooney misses the game, you may be able to bump up his numbers a bit.
