Classic Keerocking here.He ain't scoring this week - I own him - he just can't continue at this pace.
Sigh.

I don't think there's a DB in the game who can stop him. Seems like he just needed to DO IT to get his confidence. What struck me watching tape of him this week against the Patriots was that he looks like a completely different physical specimen to the rookie Josh Gordon. He seems to have transformed his physique in his first full year in the NFL and now looks as physically imposing as any receiver outside of maybe Megatron.
Aqib Talib is a big cornerback. At 6’1 and over 200lbs, there aren’t many receivers that can dominate him physically, but Gordon did exactly that, terrorizing Talib with his combination of size, strength and speed all game, and actually making him look small on the field. Talib was in man coverage against Gordon most of the game and by the end of it wanted nothing much to do with a battle he was on the losing end of. Of Gordon’s 151 receiving yards, 141 of them came against Talib. He was thrown at five times covered by New England’s best corner and caught all five, with Talib also drawing three holding penalties as he tried desperately to deal with Gordon.
Not to toot my own horn but after reading that recap posted above about his performance against Talib & BB master game planning, you have to be impressed with this kid.I'm a little shocked by this sentiment myself...Why do people think Talib can manhandle Gordon so easily? Gordons a BEAST
Have you guys seen Josh Gordon or how he plays football??
He is 6'3" and 227 LB
Talib is 6'1" and 205 LB (one of the biggest CB's in the NFL) and Gordon still has him by over 20 pounds and a few inches. And that's IF Talib is on him every single snap (i doubt it); most CB's are significantly smaller then Talib (< 200 LB).
Gordon isn't just going to give up when he gets jammed. It's an almost an advantage for a guy with his size and speed. He can break free with his size and he is behind you with 2 strides.. gone.
This isn't 2003 anymore; BB just doesn't flick a switch and the best player in FF just gets shut down automatically.
The only wide receiver you can argue is ranked above him is CJ. And taking CJ in the 1st round is a reasonable pick.Garbage time counts. Saved his day and alot of fantasy owners. . Hes a very good WR .Probally my favorite player now. I had him last last year and this year and I will be looking for him again next year but I am afraid he will go early 2nd round next year . Though I saw him in a mock last week at the end of the 3rd round. .Whats every one think . Is he worth a 2nd round pick next year before guys like AJ Green ,J Jones. Dez and B Marshall.
Today was tough watching him... until that last minute. Does anyone else have him in a keeper or dynasty league? I was considering keeping Lacy in a keeper league but now it has to be Gordon. I am worried he'll have another incident with drugs though. The only wide receiver you can argue is ranked above him is CJ. And taking CJ in the 1st round is a reasonable pick.Garbage time counts. I can see some taking Gordon in late 1st/early 2nd. I mean he's likely to end the season as the #1 or #2 WR with a 2 game suspension. Sheesh.
i picked him up off the waiver wire after week 1 (couldnt believe he was there) but we have a rule that any waiver wires franchised count as 8th rd draft picks...thats damn good value hahaGarbage time counts. thats a steal...well doneThats awesome. I was going to draft him this year in the 8th round and someone swooped in and drafted him in the 7th. Again my favorite player so I traded McFadden for him when the guy realized he drafted Foster as his #1 and Foster had that injury in the pre season and needed a better RB.One of the best trades I ever made.
It's a bit early to start thinking about this but I Josh Gordon has outproduced AJ Green (not including the current game he's playing in), Dez Bryant, and obviously Julio Jones. While its a concern , any player can get hurt , suspended etc. I would let that stop me but I still personally cant rank him above Dez , Julio or AJ Green behind Calvin. Was a great 4 weeks and Gordon is a top 5 WR in football now but his all those other guys will be a year better (ofcourse so will Josh) and I personally think AJ Green is up there almost with Calvin. And again I am a Huge gordon fan. Just see this every year. Alot of folks in preseasn were saying Dez better then Calvin and Dez was taken early 2nd round and hasnt exatly performed for that high a draft pick. Just my opinion.
Josh Gordon confirmed he was not fazed by his minor car accident on Saturday.
Gordon was on his way to a team meeting when a car in front of him lost control, causing his SUV to swerve. He still attended the meeting and was not injured in any way. The accident had nothing to do with his disappointing Week 15 that was only salvaged by a meaningless 43-yard touchdown catch in garbage time. Expect far more from Gordon when he faces the Jets' anemic pass defense in Week 16. The wind, a still effective Bears secondary led by Tim Jennings, and Jason Campbell combined to hold him down Sunday.

people get spoiled... hopefully he ####s one more week. It's crazy when a disappointing day for Gordon is 3-67-1.
I own him in a couple dynasties, and at this point I will take any urine test he'd like me to if he wants to get back on the sizzurp.Does anyone else have him in a keeper or dynasty league? (I kid, I kid....sort of).Same situation as you but I got him in the 10th round of my keeper league :feelsgood:Garbage time counts. Saved his day and alot of fantasy owners. . that 1 pass he dropped on a cross field slant would have been a TDFaust said:Rotoworld:

that would be amazing but I keep waiting for the expected down week. He does have one of the best possible matchups this week so lets hope his unprecendented run can somehow continue one more week.Going to win many people the Championship this weekend. 7-173-2
I was going to say the same.I would say this past week was his down week
he still scored and had 60+ yards....I'd sign up for that to be his floor this week.I would say this past week was dis down week
Snagged in Auction for $3.... for his production, this is unprecendted (at least in my longest running auction league).Same situation as you but I got him in the 10th round of my keeper league :feelsgood:Garbage time counts. He's done enough for me as-is but if he wins me my fantasy championship on top of it... GOATI think all of us faithful Gordon owners need a 150/2 week![]()
@MaryKayCabot
Browns WR Davone Bess will miss final two games of season for personal reasons.
i wonder what the reasons are?
@MaryKayCabotBrowns WR Davone Bess will miss final two games of season for personal reasons.![]()
It may not seem like big news, but Bess had the 2nd-most WR receptions on the team. He certainly wasn't taking any coverage away from Gordon, but now it's the Gordon and Little show from the WR spot. Even if this gets him a few more targets per game, it's a few more targets per game.

slap slap slap slap SLAPOr he could lay a massive egg. That would work, too.
