WR Josh Gordon, KC (2 Viewers)

say it's a 6 game suspension.

if he tests positive any time soon, he's done for a year, which basically means he's done for good.

i was able to get good value last week and jumped ship. too much risk.

Goodell could be paving the way for the bombshell announcements of rice and Gordon soon.
Yes, he's probably letting the suspense build for a bombshell announcement. He's probably waiting for the NBA and NHL playoffs to end so he can get maximum exposure for his failed players. Yeah, that's probably what he's doing.
You are right. Far be it from the NFL to maximize its exposure on all fronts. Even in announcing suspensions it creates a media circus the NFL loves. Didn't they delay the schedule announcement release to gain maximum exposure? It's entirely possible so why act as if its not.

The NBA even televised the announcement of Donald Sterlings banishment. Its what leagues do to maximize the products exposure in any way. Which I should point out Sterling makes racist remarks and gets banned and sells his team for a unreal record breaking 2B because of the fallout. No publicity is bad publicity.
There's no coincidence that news like this gets announced on Fridays. It's designed to minimize the story as much as possible.
This.

Hill's suspension merely shows that a year ban isn't a foregone conclusion.
I agree. I have yet to see someone report why or how there could be a difference between what Washington got and what Will Hill got.

Blackmon - 4 games, then one year

Washington - 4 games, then one year

Will Hill - 4 games, then 6 games.
I've explained it in this thread. Will Hill didn't complete stage 1, so his first violation in stage 2 was a suspension, whereas B'mon and Wash'ton got fines for their first stage 2 violations.

@WKYCSports: #Browns WR Josh Gordon was issued a speeding ticket over Memorial Day Weekend. http://t.co/F23mncqbmC
cut him
It seems as if he just cant avoid having issues.
LOL at speeding tickets being "issues"
I would think anyone having an issue involving the law is a bad thing.
Literally thousands of tickets handed out daily at the end of every month in every state. A non-issue.

Now his passenger having weed? smh

No one considers a speeding ticket "having an issue involving the law".

Before the Internet I'd have assumed Soulfly was a troll -- that no one could actually believe so much that is so obviously so wrong.

But I have learned. Oh, yes. I have learned.

There are 350+ million Americans and even if only 1% of them are stark raving mad you still have 3.5 million lunatics running around. Most of who are still capable enough to find the Internet.

So up is down, black is white, 2+2 is 5 and Josh Gordon isn't going to be suspended for a year.

Mock, :lmao: , ignore -- just don't fight it.

Stick a fork in him.

He'll never play another NFL down. He'll be playing in the CFL and then bankrupt within 8 years. It was good while it lasted, numb nuts.
This is becoming a lot like Ricky Williams' situation where it appeared he DGAF about the NFL.

He was pulled over for speeding, and the cops searched everyone in the car for drugs?

Obviously, the biggest problem here is that Josh doesn't have the good sense to drive with white people.

Watching someone throwing his support behind Gordon like this is is pretty head scratching. He had weed in the car when he was facing suspension and you still support him. I'm baffled. The weed was his his friend just held it for him, face it.

We gloss over it, but the speeding was actually more dangerous than the weed.
74 in a 60.

That's about what nearly every single driver on the DC beltway does every morning and every night. Limit is 55, most do 70+, may do 80+. Anybody who lives in the area knows I am not exaggerating.

I'm not saying that it can't do harm, but that's about as far away from a serious crime as jaywalking.

You guys remember that time Dwayne Bowe got suspended for speeding with pot in the car
