WR Keenan Allen, LAC (1 Viewer)

I'd risk it with Allen before I went Hilton instead
I think I would too.

I mentioned above I'm starting Evans. I think that's the line for me as Evans has a favorable matchup and is likely a top 12ish choice.

Kills me to sit Allen (have Ridley and A-Rob also in - my team is stacked in this league).

I was burned by Ridley being injured and active in week 4 when he played 45 snaps and came away with a 0 despite 5 targets. Think he had this same type injury.

not going thru that again

Allen played through this last week though i thought.

I was hooping last night with Keenan's brother Zach....Keenan wants to lead the league in receptions... I wouldnt sit him tonight on Prime Time

You are right, looks like he did play through it for part of the 4th quarter. Not sure what his stats looked like after he came back though.

Allen briefly left with a hamstring injury in the fourth quarter, and dropped a pass that led to Justin Herbert's interception on his first play back, but he should be fine for Week 15

What the heck!!! Pushing all the chips in.

Him coming on camera and yelling convinced me.  I'm starting him in both leagues. I got the booze ready for whatever happens. :)
Firsthand accounts from player siblings? Pregame bravado in empty stadiums? Is this how we're deciding starting lineups in 2020??

**** it, I'm in. Ty Johnson to the bench, Allen starting again!

@FieldYates

Take this for what it's worth from the man himself: Keenan Allen just yelled into the camera during pregame "Don't sit me!"

Heard Allen just yelled into the camera “don’t sit me!”

Straight from the stud’s mouth. He’s in!

Of course the sideline reporter just said that Anthony Lynn told her directly Allen will be on a snap count.  🙄

Welp...too late now!

Harsh reminder not to play guys in this position.    But man its tempting and there were signs he was going to be ok in this game

Pls elaborate
Allen when nicked is useless. I’ve been at games where he’ll just pull up, no contact, go to the sidelines, and be hardly seen again. For the following weeks he’s a shell. And it’s not Julio like hammy pulls either where it’s obvious. I guess if he’s your #1 and he’s active you play him, but I expected nothing tonight. Matter of fact started T Johnson with confidence. Was going to be Henry, Johnson and Guyton. Felt that way before the game.

Keenan Allen caught 1-of-3 targets for 17 yards in the Chargers' Week 15 win over the Raiders.

Allen "added" one rush for -1 yards. "Pitch count" worries came to fruition, with Pro Football Focus' Nathan Jahnke charting Allen as playing just 24-of-66 snaps in the overtime victory. Allen was noticeably hobbled. He nearly saved his night with an end zone target, but he and Justin Herbert could not connect on third-and-goal. Brutal, but as long as Allen avoided setbacks, he now has 10 days to get closer to 100 percent health for Week 16 against the Broncos' injured secondary.

Keenan Allen (hamstring) was held out of Tuesday's practice.

It's not a great start to Allen's Week 16 following last Thursday's debacle, but Allen was never going to practice much this week. There have not been reports of him suffering a setback against the Raiders. Allen will be on 10 days rest when the Bolts host the Broncos on Sunday. There is still time for Allen to get his way back into the WR1 mix for the fantasy finals.
