WR Match Ups to Exploit/Avoid (1 Viewer)

I also need to start Marshall this week, and was a little turned off by his matchup against OAK. Then I looked at who OAK played, and feel much better. They've played against KC twice, TEN, HOU (with Rosenfels), MIA, etc etc etc. Not exactly the most potent passing attacks. Two matchups that stood out at me were DEN, DET and CLE where each opposing QB went for about 250 yards or more.Plus, last time DEN and OAK played, Walker grabbed 8 for 100 and a score and Marshall added something like 6 for 80. All in all, I feel much better about the matchup.

Green Bay @ Dallas:

Jennings/Driver/Lee: The Cowboys have the 21st ranked pass defense in the NFL. Jennings, Driver, and Lee all have to be licking their chops! This has the makings for a high-scoring game. All three of these guys make excellent starts in week 13.
Greg Jennings is a freagin BEAST. I didn't think he was better than Driver, but I'm ready to move Jennings in front of him. The dude now has nine TDs, and knows how to catch a long TD pass.

Seahawks WR Bobby Engram (@ PHI): Deion Branch may be back on the field, but D.J. Hackett is back on the sideline. That means more playing time and more looks for Engram, who hauled in another seven passes for 70 yards in St. Louis last week. Engram is well on his way to shattering his career marks set way back in the late ’90s, and you’ll want to be along for the ride this week. Just last week, Wes Welker – an underneath, possession receiver like Engram — racked up 13 catches for 149 yards against the Eagles.

:goodposting:

Redskins WR Santana Moss (vs. BUF): Don’t look now, but Moss is suddenly coming on strong. The notoriously inconsistent speedster has 14 catches, 158 yards and a score in his last two games, by far his best stretch of the season. On Sunday, he’ll take to the field with a purpose against the Bills, who have given up 92 points in their last two games, including big days to No. 1 wideouts Randy Moss (four touchdowns) and Reggie Williams (59 yards, touchdown).

:football:

Eagles WR Kevin Curtis (vs. SEA): It’s hard to believe, but the Seahawks have remarkably yielded only three WR touchdowns all year long: One apiece to T.J. Houshmandzadeh, Marques Colston and Isaac Bruce. Curtis is hardly the big, physical red-zone threat that Housh and Colston are, as evidenced by the fact that he hasn’t reached paydirt in his last six games. In fact, take away his 221-yard, three-TD aberration against the Lions, and Curtis has only one score in his other 10 contests.

:football:

Giants WR Plaxico Burress (@ CHI): It was one thing when, despite the well-documented ankle injury, Plax was crossing into the endzone on a weekly basis. Now, Burress’ production has not only slipped — he has scored and topped 50 yards just once in his last five efforts – but he’s also dealing with a knee injury that forced him to seek a specialist this week. Last season, the Bears let CB Charles Tillman shadow Plax man-to-man, and the veteran corner held him to just 48 yards on four catches.

Henry, Chris WR CIN

News: In his last game at Pittsburgh, Bengals WR Chris Henry caught five passes for 69 yards and scored two touchdowns. He will try to at least match those stats in Week 13 when the two division rivals meet for the second time this season. Analysis: Henry has been stealing catches away from T.J. Houshmandzadeh and Chad Johnson, but is still clearly the No. 3 option in the Bengals passing game. Still, he's a solid WR in a solid passing system and if the weather proves to be as bad as expected in Pittsburgh this weekend, he could find himself with a number of catches as running the ball on that questionable turf will be very difficult. Consider him a low-end No. 2 or high-end No. 3 Fantasy WR in Week 13, depending on the size of your league.

I'm torn between Henry & CJ this week. I don't know who to start. Played the wrong 2 the past 2 weeks. CJ 2 weeks ago, Henry last week. Whats the consensus here?

I am stuck having to decide between Burress, C. Henry, and R. White. I am alreay starting Housh. Don't know if I want to roll with an injured Burress or 2 Bengal wr's in the rain.

Galloway/Hilliard: With news that Jeff Garcia will not start in week 13 due to injury, will Hilliard and Galloway have a hard time developing chemistry with Luke McCown? I don't think so. Joey Galloway has owned the Saints and is virtually a lock for a TD this week.
If Galloway doesn't score, I'm gonna punch you in the brain.virtually.
Bring it on Bubba! If Galloway does score, I'm gonna put you in the figure four leg lock for doubting me.

virtually!
Please! Not the figure four!Thanks.
