On the upside, he didn't drop either of those 2 passes, so maybe the concussion fixed him?Yeah, that was not a good look for the NFL / organization if it really is a concussion. They had already checked him the previous drive after the big hit.
But before he finally went out, he was waving his hand / tapping his head before 2-3 plays trying to sub-out. I think he was targeted for a pass on almost all of them.
Thought he dropped the target in the end zone on the "slowest route ever" that he should have caught. But would have been called back anyways for OPI push-off.On the upside, he didn't drop either of those 2 passes, so maybe the concussion fixed him?![]()
That was the 3rd pass his way - I'd hardly call it a drop since he was in heavy traffic.Thought he dropped the target in the end zone on the "slowest route ever" that he should have caught. But would have been called back anyways for OPI push-off.
Some of the best hands I've seen. JW just heaves it in his direction and he usually gets it. Winded & banged up he was still trying out there. He is unreal. Hope he's ok. Absolutely majesterial
Still WR1 overall. How does his value change after this game? Does the injury lower it more than the big game raises it?
If anything, his playing after the hit shows us (again) that the dude is tough. How does his value change after this game? Does the injury lower it more than the big game raises it?
No. I still wouldn't trade him for half your roster and a hummer from your playmate supermodel sister. How does his value change after this game? Does the injury lower it more than the big game raises it?
everyone can exhale now. If he's expected to practice Monday that's a pretty sure sign he's playing exit week.Mike Evans is in the NFL's concussion protocol.
That's the bad news after Evans came up woozy late in Thursday night's loss to Atlanta. The good news is he is expected to practice on Monday, and should have a good shot at playing in Week 10 with the Bucs on a long week. Evans leads the NFL in targets and touchdown catches. Tampa faces the Bears next.
I gave OBJ for him straight up 2 weeks ago. Playing that owner this week.No. I still wouldn't trade him for half your roster and a hummer from your playmate supermodel sister.
(Though that would certainly warm me up to negotiations...)
How was the hummer?I gave OBJ for him straight up 2 weeks ago. Playing that owner this week.

I sure hope he's practicing Monday and is 100%. But idk how anyone can say that.everyone can exhale now. If he's expected to practice Monday that's a pretty sure sign he's playing exit week.

The team apparently said he's expected to practice Monday.I sure hope he's practicing Monday and is 100%. But idk how anyone can say that.
It's a concussion. Noone knows how the recovery will go. Everyone's different. Total speculation
Lol. Obj has ridiculous name value and is all over media where Evans is not. Also virtually every expert dynasty list has obj ahead of Evans if only by a couple spots. Some people put a lot of weight in those lists. How was the hummer?
ETA, I can't believe someone would deal you Evans for OBJ 2 weeks ago, or any time this year. OBJ has had what, 1 good game, and has a balky hip and a terrible QB.
shockingly poor decision on the Evans owner.
well done - I guess technically you gave him a 1st rounder for a 2nd rounder, but I could only see that going down before week 1 (back when you probably still had madLol. I almost did a similar deal in early October. Was offered OBJ, Keenan allen and Jordan reed for Evans, Antonio Brown and jimmy Graham. Biggest reason I didn't was brown (and that allen was injured, often and again) but I was contemplating a counter which wouldn't have been that much more from him. That offer looks horrible now.Hot Sauce Guy said:How was the hummer?

Woohoo!Mike Evans (concussion) is practicing Monday.
He will likely be limited after entering the concussion protocol following Thursday night's game, but even limited work this early in the week gives him a great shot to play. He might even be able to clear the protocol before Wednesday's practice. Evans will be a high-end WR1 against the Bears.

AMEN!Now let's hope Winston can stop sailing passes to him that he has to sky for and take a beating when he comes down with the reception!
Mike Evans remains in the league's concussion protocol.
Evans went through the Bucs' light walkthrough Monday and probably will be on the practice field in some capacity Wednesday, but he still needs to pass further tests. We tentatively expect Evans to be cleared before the end of the week, especially with the Bucs having 10 days between games.
It's only Wednesday. Deep breaths. He'll be cleared by Sunday. He's been practicing - all signs have looked positive so far.He didn't pass through protocol yet.![]()
You shut your whore mouth!Im facing him this week... keep that dome spinning bro .. a lil bit of rest never hurt anyone right![]()
The news coming out surrounding this is extremely positive.
He practiced in full today and Ian Rapaport stated that he has been system free. Of course it's possible for symptoms to show up later, which is why they'll be watching him closely leading up to game time, but all signs point towards him suiting up Sunday.
Now you have done it. he's gonna drop 100 and 2 TDs on yaIm facing him this week... keep that dome spinning bro .. a lil bit of rest never hurt anyone right![]()
My understanding is there is 5 stages of the protocol, starting with rest and then stage 2 is light aerobic activity working up to stage 5 which is a full practice with no restrictions. After each stage the player is re-evaluated by the team physician to make sure that there is no reoccurrence of the concussion symptoms. When the player completes stage 5 (full practice) they are re-evaluated by the team physician and if he feels the player is cleared, then the player has to see an independent neurological consultant (INC) who will examine the player and review all of the reports from the team physician. It's up to the INC to give final clearance for the player to participate in the upcoming game.I didn't realize you could still be in the protocol but have a full practice. That's a thing?
Yeah - based on the fact that he said he felt well enough to practice Monday when asked on Sunday seemed like a good sign that he was gonna suit up this week. Not surprised since he went through his 2nd full practice, he would have been full today if he didnt pass his final clearance after full practice yesterday.
You forgot a pickle lolCleared!
Everybody get yer pickles out!

(one for each TD he scores this week)
So let me get this straight...you think Winston - a black man - made a concerted effort not to throw to his best weapon - a black man - because he sat for the anthem in protest of the most racist president since Andrew Jackson? And "act like a clown?" Did Evans do something other than kneel/sit? What am I missing here?I just posted in the Bucs' thread, but I honestly think Jameis went away from him on purpose yesterday because of that stunt. He did the same thing against the Saints last year when Evans was dropping everything. Jameis is the alpha and the leader of this team. Evans wants to act like a clown? Fine, good luck catching passes without the ball being thrown to you.
